Ed Sheeran may have walked away from the Grammy’s empty handed, but the British singer probably managed to win over some new fans on the night, thanks to his breathtaking performance of ‘Thinking Out Loud’ alongside John Mayer. But as luck would have it, those in the US who are now dreaming about seeing the flame haired singer live wont have long to wait, as Ed has just announced a 32 date summer tour!

Kicking off on May 6th at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, TX, the tour will see Sheeran hit a number of major cities across the US, as well as making nine stops across the boarder in Canada.

One performance which is bound to be special will be on June 29th when the 23 year old will play at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado. Sheeran will also spend two nights at the Forest Hills Stadium in New York on May 28th and 29th.

Sheeran’s tour will also hit the famous Hollywood Bowl, on June 24th, before he ends the trip with a a July 3rd performance at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The dates mark the first major solo North American outing for the singer, who previously supported Taylor Swift on her Red tour, from March to September 2012.

While Sheeran failed to win any of the three Grammy awards he was nominated for, the singer can now celebrate, as his single Thinking Out Loud’ has risen to the top of the iTunes Download chart following Sunday night’s performance.

Sheeran had shared the Grammy’s stage with his new BFF John Mayer, whom he also joined on the ‘Late Show’ couch last Friday. During the appearance the pair revealed they’d each design a tattoo for the other, which they then got permanently inked on their bodies backstage.

Mayer chose a small arrow and the words 'Kool Guy’ for Sheeran, which now sits on the singer’s right arm under some teddy bear ink. While Sheeran decided on a small cat head for new pal Mayer, which is now found on the 37 year old’s upper chest area.
