Eliza Doolittle finds playing in large venues "difficult".

The 23-year-old singer has seen her career escalate over the last year, and as she has grown more popular and playing to more people, she is struggling to connect with her audience.

She said: "I'm used to intimate venues and recently I've been doing bigger ones and finding it difficult to get that connection."

While Eliza is enjoying her success, she insists there are limits to what she would do to maintain her fame - ruling out ever appearing on a celebrity reality TV show.

She said: "I don't think I'd do anything like that for money.

"Even if that means singing in a gutter someday, I'd prefer that to being a reality star."

Eliza's touring schedule means she finds it difficult to eat as healthily as she should, so she relies on exercise to ensure she stays in shape.

She said: "While I'm busy I don't put on any weight because I'm always on my feet.

"I used to go to the gym twice a week so when I can I like to work out.

"Constantly travelling means I don't always get to eat well - so it's probably a good idea for me to do some exercise."
