British singer Eliza Doolittle will entertain crowds of more than 850 people sleeping rough on London's streets to raise money for charity.

The Pack Up hitmaker will share the stage with comedian Tim Vine and girl band Stooshe for the performance on Thursday night (08Nov12) in Exchange Square, Broadgate in aid of British charity Centrepoint's annual Sleep Out event.

The Sleep Out events encourage supporters to spend a night on the streets to experience a taste of homelessness, and this year (12) aims to raise more than $400,000 (£250,000) to support homeless people aged 16-25 with accommodation, learning and health.

The charity's patron, Prince William, famously slept out on the streets of London in 2009 to understand what it's like to be homeless.
