Popular baking competition - Bake Off - is back on Channel 4 but with some famous faces as various celebrities tackle the show for Stand Up To Cancer. Last night (20 March) it was the turn of Made in Chelsea star, Jamie Laing, and many viewers took to social media to point out how many times the reality TV star mentioned his grandfather invented the digestive biscuit.

Ella Eyre won't be writing about her ex-boyfriend in her new music.

The 23-year-old singer insists she won't be heading in the studio to get over her split from Rixton's Lewi Morgan because it was the ''most uninteresting break-up ever''.

She said: ''I'm friends with all my exes and Lewi is one of them. I'm still in touch with his family and his band is coming back with new music, so I'm checking up on that to see how it's going. The way me and Lewi split up was so mutual, calm and respectful. I'd struggle to write an interesting song about it because it was the most uninteresting break-up ever!''

Ella Eyre has teased she has collaborated with Sigala on a new track.

The 23-year-old singer joined forces with the British DJ - whose real name is Bruce Fielder - in 2015 on the track 'Good Times' from her 'Feline' album, and the star has revealed the duo have collaborated with one another again on a track, which is believed to be titled ''Came Here For Love'' and will be released on June 9.

Alongside a picture of Ella on stage, which she posted to her Instagram account, she wrote: ''been a long time coming but me & ma mate @sigalamusic FINALLY made a track together that we LOVEEE & can't wait for y'all to hear CAME HERE FOR LOVE 9TH JUNE #CHFL (sic).''

Ella Eyre has been on ''the most surreal, intense, emotional rollercoaster'' of her entire life the past week.

The 23-year-old musician has revealed the ''past couple of days'' has been largely up and down for her, but her recent performance at London's KOKO was ''one of the best'' days of her entire career.

Alongside a picture of the brunette beauty on set performing on stage during her concert on Tuesday (04.04.17), which was shared on her Instagram account, the powerhouse wrote: ''it's been the most surreal, intense, emotional rollercoaster of my life over the past couple of days but last night was one of the best (sic).''

Ella Eyre has confirmed she will be performing her ''comeback headline show'' in April.

The 22-year-old singer has announced she will be returning to the stage in a few months time at London's KOKO club to perform her tracks, and she is ''so excited'' to be returning to the fore, she feels she may ''explode''.

The Mobo Awards have been a triumph for British rap and grime artists, as Stormzy and Krept & Konan both took home two awards at the ceremony in Leeds last night.

London MC Stormzy became the first winner of the newly created category of Best Grime Act, rounding off a year that’s seen him emerge onto the radar of the mainstream. Around 12 months ago, he was named on the BBC’s Sound of 2015 poll and became the first unsigned rapper to perform on ‘Later with Jools Holland’.

Significantly, he also won Best Male Act, beating out the likes of Mark Ronson and more established names like JME and Skepta.

Hertfordshire's most eventful music festival Standon Calling is set to return for its 10th anniversary, and a host of new line-up additions are announced as the event draws nearer; including UK festival favourites The Horrors. Though that's not all you can look forward to.

Joining the likes of already announced headliners Little Dragon, The Dandy Warhols and Basement Jaxx are indie five-piece The Horrors, whose last album 'Luminous' (released in 2014) reached number 6 in the UK albums chart, as well as Dingwalls DJs Gilles Peterson and Patrick Forge, electro duo Bondax and Scottish synthpop trio Prides.

WhoSampled.com, a website that explores the DNA of music by discovering direct connections among thousands of songs across multiple genres, will host the first ever 'Samplethon' at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton on Saturday May 10, 2014. The event will give up-and-coming producers access to rare sample material, with the challenge to produce a brand new track against the clock.

Though winners of the Samplethon could see their tracks included on a forthcoming album release, all those entering will get the rare opportunity to call on a team of esteemed mentors for help and assistance from, as well creating new music without the legal shackles often associated with sampling.
