Victoria's Secret Angel Elsa Hosk believes her background as a basketball player has helped her on photo shoots because she is able to use ''every single muscle'' for her poses.
Elsa Hosk believes playing basketball helped her ''adapt to the world of posing''.
The new Victoria's Secret Angel uses ''every single muscle'' in her body when she is being photographed on shoots and is sure her sports career in the Swedish women's basketball league following her graduation from high school prepare her body for the rigours of modelling.
Elsa - who graces the front cover of the September 2015 issue of Fashion magazine alongside fellow Victoria's Secret Angel Taylor Hill - said: ''It [sport] made me a team player and it's easier to adapt to the world of posing. When I model, I use every single muscle in my body. Being fit and physical lets me know that control.''
The 26-year-old Swedish blonde also revealed that Victoria's Secret bosses ''encourage'' them to put their ''personalities'', ''faces'' and ''messages'' out there, through social media.
Elsa told Fashion magazine: ''These days, models are allowed to have bigger personalities and be celebrities on their own. We have platforms now on social media, [so] there's a way for us to get our faces and messages out there, especially with VS - they encourage that.''
Elsa and Taylor were photographed by Ishi and styled by Zeina Esmail for the publication and the two models can be seen wearing dresses by Erdem for the magazine.
