Pharrell Williams is auctioning off the headline-grabbing Vivienne Westwood buffalo hat that he wore to the recent Grammy awards. As soon as the singer stepped out on to the red carpet wearing the oversized, brown, brimmed headwear, his image pinged across the world and its own Twitter account was quickly created ( "chillin on @pharrell's head" don'tcha know).

Susan Boyle And Elvis Presley To 'Duet' - Christmas Number 1 For The Unlikely Pair?

Susan Boyle Elvis Presley

Don’t ask how, but Susan Boyle is recording a Christmas single with Elvis Presley. The Scottish singer looks as bemused as anyone else, and what’s worse, is that no one seems to be explaining what the hell’s going on. Elvis Presley is dead.

“To sing with Elvis, I didn't think it would be possible... isn't technology brilliant?' said Boyle, totally ignoring what we just said. "Dueting with Elvis was beyond my wildest dreams and now that this is able to raise money and help children, it is simply fantastic." (Express)

Word just in: it’s not really a duet. Not really. Boyle will just be singing over a recording of Elvis singing. So it’s like some humming along to the radio but with words. It’s singing – singing over something else.

Kristen Stewart Nurses Her Broken Heart & Suffers Prankster Taunts

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson Riley Keough Elvis Presley

It's safe to say that actress Kristen Stewart is going through a pretty emotionally troublesome time, having split with her long-term, on/off boyfriend and fellow Twilight co-star Rob Pattinson in May only to now hear reports that he's been publically moving on with Elvis Presley's granddaughter and Stewart-lookalike Riley Keough.

Kristen StewartA Single Kristen Stewart Tries To Move On With Her Life Despite Reports Rob Is Dating Riley.

Not only having to contend with her crushing heartache, Stewart has also recently been the victim of a cruel jibe after someone wrote "I [heart] Rob" in the grime on the front of her pickup truck whilst she was out running errands in Hollywood. She and Pattinson split in May after a four year relationship that echoed the onscreen romance of their Twilight characters, Bella and Edward.

Michael Jackson's Doctor Details Painkiller Addiction And AEG's Knowledge Of Drug Problems

Michael Jackson Elvis Presley

Michael Jackson was addicted to prescription drugs and had been for well over a decade before his eventual death in 2009 - that's what his one-time doctor, Dr. Stuart Finklestein, told a courtroom via a video deposition on Monday (July 8) during the wrongful death case brought against tour organisers AEG by the bereaved Jackson family, with Finklestein adding that he had alerted AEG bosses of the singer's condition and the vulnerability of his medical condition, according to the Los Angeles Times.

As the wrongful-death trial reached its 43rd day, Finklestein's testimony detailed his long-time friendship with Paul Gongaware, the manager of Michael's extensive 'Dangerous' tour of the early nineties. The doctor discussed how, upon meeting Jackson in 1993 whilst his tour was in Bangkok, Thailand, he was suffering from severe headaches and, under the guidance of Allan Metzger - his LA doctor - Finklestein administered Demoral and later morphine to Michael until he felt hell enough to go on stage. Finklestein told the court that when he first tried to administer a shot of Demerol to Jackson, “his buttocks were so scarred up and abscessed that the needle almost bent. ... He obviously had had multiple injections in his buttocks prior to arriving in Bangkok.”

What A Hound Dog! Is Robert Pattinson Dating Elvis' Granddaughter?

Robert Pattinson Riley Keough Elvis Presley Lisa Marie Presley Kristen Stewart

The actor who played Edward Cullen and the target of many a frenzied tweenage fan melt-down, Robert Pattinson, is set to be back in the game; only weeks after his split with Twilight co-star and long-term on/off girlfriend, Kristen Stewart. The Daily Mail reports that the pair were spotted speeding around L.A in Rob's pickup truck over the past weekend.

Robert Pattinson: Is He Playing The Field After Splitting From Kristen?

The relationship, described as "short-term lust right now rather than long-term love" by The Mail's source, is rather too out in the open for heart-broken Stewart, who is said to be "devastated" that her long-time lover has moved on from her since their May split. After the initial reports that Rob was dating 'I Kissed A Girl' singer Katy Perry, this last rumour is just a bit too painful for the 23- year-old. Keough and Stewart are said to be good friends after meeting on the set of 2010's The Runaways movie where they co-starred. Keough was certainly close enough the On The Road actress to be invited to her 23rd birthday celebrations - she was pictured attending Stewart's Mexican cantina birthday party.

Beginning Of The End? One Direction Sign INDIVIDUAL Publishing Deals

One Direction Harry Styles Louis Tomlinson Niall Horan Zayn Malik Liam Payne Britney Spears Black Eyed Peas Foo Fighters Elvis Presley

Ah, we was wondering when this was going to happen. One Direction have added a couple more million to their bank accounts, though this time they're thinking for themselves. Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne have signed SEPARATE publishing deals to cash in on all songs they have credits for writing.

It's a clear sign that the boys are beginning to look after their own interests following the phenomenal success of their first couple of years in the industry. The publishing deals are being overseen by Fingate, the company who also cash in on Elvis Presley's back catalogue as well as work by Britney Spears, Black Eyed Peas and Foo Fighters

A source said: "This is a real statement of intent from the band. They have absolutely no intention of being spoon-fed pop puppets. They want to write and they want to earn as individuals." As well as the new deals, each of the five members have also invested in their own studio set-ups at home and have been attending writing sessions together after gigs. On their latest record Take Me Home, the band had three songs with individual writing credits while the others were penned by outsider songwriters. The group did not have a hand in writing the three biggest hits from the album, Live While We're Young, Kiss You and Little Things.

Paul McCartney Leaves Personalized Guitar Pick At Elvis Presley's Grave

Sir Paul McCartney Elvis Presley Beatles Pussy Riot

Paul McCartney visited the grave of Elvis Presley at Graceland over the weekend, leaving the legendary musician a personalized guitar pick so he "can play guitar in heaven." McCartney paid tribute to the American musician after taking time out from the North American leg of his 'Out There' tour which rolled through Memphis this week.

McCartney tweeted a photo of himself holding the guitar pick as he leaned over the iron wrought fence in front of Presley's headstone. He added another of himself holding an acoustic guitar with Elvis' name on the fret-board. The former beatle famously met Presley during the Liverpool group's visit to Los Angeles in 1956 and again during their shows in Memphis in 1966. McCartney's recent performance at the city's FedEx Forum was his first visit to Memphis for 20 years.

According to NME.com, the musician has been playing a career-spanning set-list including songs never before performed live, including 'Being For The Benefit of Mr Kite' and 'All Together Now.'

Sony Hackers Escape Jail After Leaking Michael Jackson Tracks

Michael Jackson Elvis Presley Beyonce Knowles

Two men, who hacked Sony Entertainment's servers and downloaded thousands of songs, including some unreleased material from Michael Jackson, have escaped jail time today (Jan 12) after a court hearing in Leicester, UK.

The two men, James McCormick, 26, and James Marks, 27, met online before eventually collaborating together to break into Sony's vast musical database and helping themselves to the spoils, which also included Elvis Presley and Beyoncé as well as MJ. They were arrested in May 2011, after Sony identified the security breach, but not before helping themselves to over 7000 songs, as well as artwork and videos. The Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) said that the two had also conspired to sell the files on after they had been stolen, after chat-logs recovered from the pair's computers offered some rather incriminating evidence for the prosecutors to consider.

The pair first appeared in court in September last year, pleading guilty to computer misuse offences. They now face a suspended 6 month sentence each, reduced from a year, as well as 100 hours of community service. Mick Jameison, from SOCA's Cyber Department, said to press shortly after the sentencing, "These men stole thousands of copyrighted files belonging to Sony Music. Our remit is to protect businesses as well the public, and we will continue to work closely with law enforcement and industry partners to tackle online criminality."

Bill O'Reilly Not Taken In By The Psy Hype

Bill O'Reilly Psy Elvis Presley

On last night's (Nov 29) edition of The O'Reilly Factor, host Bill O'Reilly distanced himself from the masses and admitted that he is in no way a fan of Korean singer Psy's massive YouTube hit 'Gangnam Style.'

Describing the singer as "a little fat guy from Pyongyang or some place," O'Reilly invited on to the show Fox News's resident 'psychiatrist' Keith Ablow to deconstruct the show, whilst also making perfectly clear that Psy is not Elvis Presley, nor will he ever be anything life him regardless of the Korean (that's South Korea, not North Korea like O'Reilly seems to think) current success.

The two spoke on the hot topic for about five minutes, with the conservative commentator and Ablow deconstructing and disagreeing with all of the hit song. At one point, Albow made the assertion that 'Gangnam Style' appeals to the masses because it is about "nothing," and that the song was mostly "without intelligible words" (and we kind of see his point).

Elizabeth Taylor Queen Of Posthumous Celeb Earnings, Toppling King-of-Pop Michael Jackson From The Top Spot

Elizabeth Taylor Michael Jackson Elvis Presley Bob Marley Marilyn Monroe John Lennon Steve McQueen George Harrison

After her death last year aged 79, just two years after her great friend Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor has become the world's highest grossing dead celebrity, according to Forbes. This result sees the growth of her estate beat MJ, as that was his title in 2011.

Time report that her estate has made $210m over the past year due to an enormous Christie's auction of her belongings, which made $184m, with this, added to the sales of her perfume White Diamonds, pushed her ahead of the $145m that Jackson's estate earned. According to Dorothy Pomerantz, it's likely that Michael Jackson will hit the top spot again next year, and Taylor's success a one off due to her death. She says this is due to the multiple streams of income to his estate: "Not only does it earn from sales of his own music, Jackson owned a 50% stake in Sony's ATV catalog, which includes artists like the Beatles, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga. His estate also collects money from the successful Cirque Du Soleil show The Immortal Tour."

Other legendary characters that appear on the list include Elvis Presley, Bob Marley, John Lennon, Marilyn Monroe, Dr. Seuss, Steve McQueen, and George Harrison. The $145m made by the dead Thriller star is more than any other living artist today, proving that although he's not leading posthumous earning, he's still the King of Pop. Although, with two of the Beatles in this list, perhaps we can award that King-dom jointly. The Liz & Dick biopic about Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, starring Lindsay Lohan, will be airing November 25th 2012, and may just top up Liz's account a touch more.

Lil Wayne Overtakes Elvis Presley To Have The Most Billboard Hot 100 Entries Of All Time

Lil Wayne Elvis Presley

Lil Wayne has been given an extra bonus present to help give him more reason to celebrate his 30th birthday on Thursday (September 27th) - he's stolen Elvis Presley's crown by scoring the most Billboard Hot 100 entries of all time. Presley has managed to hold on to the honour ever since the charts were launched back in 1958, but he's finally been surpassed by the Lollipop hit maker who has outdone him with his appearance on his pal The Game's song Celebration, which debuted at number 82 this week.

Bigger Than Elvis! Lil' Wayne Scores More Billboard Entries Than The King

Lil Wayne Elvis Presley The Game Chris Brown Wiz Khalifa

Hip-hop star Lil’ Wayne can officially claim to be better than the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley! Well, in one sense, he can. Lil Wayne is now the male artist with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100. That title was originally held by The King, but according to Billboard’s data, there have now been an impressive total of 109 Lil Wayne songs on the chart, besting Elvis’ own record of 108.

Fittingly, the latest track that nudged Wayne to the top, is a track from The Game, entitled ‘Celebration’ and featuring Lil’ Wayne, alongside Chris Brown, Tyga and Wiz Khalifa. Wayne’s appearance on the track is deemed enough for him to rack up another point in the Billboard entry contest. This great news that – in some little way at least – Lil’ Wayne is ‘better’ than Elvis couldn’t have come at a better time, either, as the rapper celebrates his birthday today (September 27, 2012). Yesterday, he was busy launching the Trukstop Skate Park in his home city of New Orleans. “I just want to help out my city, help out the people and the kids, give them something to do, something they haven’t done before,” he told Associated Press.

Elsewhere, Lil’ Wayne has been causing much hilarity, as a deposition video of his has landed on YouTube, showing him being impressively uncooperative and obnoxious, as he’s questioned in relation to his lawsuit against Quincy Jones III. It makes for pretty funny viewing though, we wouldn’t want to swap places with the poor man trying to interview him.

Andy Williams Songs Were Legendary, But His Television Career Deserves Respect

Andy Williams Elvis Presley Perry Como Elton John The Osmonds Smokey Robinson Beach Boys

Andy Williams songs will be played on record players across the globe today, after the effortlessly smooth crooner – best known for his track ‘Moon River’ – died on Wednesday, aged 84.

Williams soothing voice, boyish looks and easy-going demeanour ensured he outlasted many of the rock-stars of the 60’s and 70’s, as well as contemporaries such as Frank Sinatra and Perry Como. For a man who became a major star in the same year as Elvis Presley, Williams enjoyed an astonishing career and remained on the charts well into the 1970s, while continuing to perform into the 1980s at the Moon River Theater that he built in Branson. However, Williams’ television career was equally as commendable and his eponymous show lasted from 1962 until 1971, winning three Emmys along the way. It was on that show that Williams introduced the world to The Osmonds (their young sibling, a certain Donny, made his debut on the show when just 6-years-old). He also booked rock and soul acts, including The Beach Boys, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson and Elton John. His attitude to fame was perhaps summed up when he mused “I guess I've never really been aggressive, although almost everybody else in show business fights and gouges and knees to get where they want to be…My trouble is, I'm not constructed temperamentally along those lines,” according to the Chicago Tribune.

Williams never entertained the possibility of retirement and told the Associated Press in 2001, “I'll keep going until I get to the point where I can't get out on stage.” He is survived by his wife Debbie and three children.

Change Of Habit Review

Terrible
I'm hard-pressed to remember a film worse than Change of Habit, a movie which features the following:

- Elvis Presley (in his final movie role) as a singing doctor in a free urban clinic- Mary Tyler Moore as a nun and nurse- A plot which features said nurse and her friends "going undercover" in said doctor's clinic, and- The inevitable romance between Elvis and Mary.

Girls! Girls! Girls! Review

Weak
Ridiculous, this Elvis Presley flick is just an excuse for the King to sing, whether he's holding court on shore or captaining his tuna boat (seriously) -- where the crew handle percussion on their thighs. Ultimately, he gets caught between two girls as he attempts to raise money to buy the boat. Will he go for the rich girl who's going incognito as a nobody, or the dull as nails Robin? Ah, skip it. Presley does have a few appropriately juicy moments of misogyny that are worth a look.

Cassandra Peterson Claims Sex With Tom Jones Left Her Hospitalized

Cassandra Peterson Tom Jones Elvis Presley

Cassandra Peterson admits that losing her virginity to Tom Jones was a little more painful than she expected, and left her needing medical assistance. No matter what Jones sings, we have to say that's certainly 'unusual'.

The horror icon responsible for 'Elvira' claims her first time was with the Welsh 'Sex Bomb' singer, and that she winded up having to go to a hospital in Las Vegas to get stitched up because he was packing a lot more than she expected. 'It was a little hard to handle, shall we say', she revealed. 'I ended up with a little tearing, a little bleeding and going to the hospital. I had to get stitches.'
