The 28-year-old proves his lyrical inferiority with the title of his diss track 'Rap Devil'; an unimaginative inversion of Eminem's 2013 single 'Rap God'. But while he may not be as fluent with literary devices as his more established counter-part, he still had some tough words for the 45-year-old.

Eminem has released a surprise new studio album, titled Kamikaze.

The rap legend’s tenth album was dropped without any fanfare at midnight on Thursday (August 30th) at East Coast time, and serves as a snap follow-up to his 2017 album Revival, which was released just nine months previously.

In comparison to many of his albums, Kamikaze is made up of just 13 songs and lasts a comparatively slender 46 minutes, and is executive-produced by Dr. Dre and Eminem himself. It also features artwork depicting the tail-fin of a crashed airplane, and looks uncannily like the front cover of Beastie Boys’ 1986 debut album Licensed To Ill.

It feature the Roman numeral 'X' in a circle within a triangle, surrounded by the words 'unity', 'service' and 'recovery'. Jay Z has ended Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ reign at the top of the Forbes list of hip-hop’s highest earners, mostly thanks to cognac and champagne.

The magazine reported on Thursday (March 1st) that the 48 year old rapper – who welcomed twins roughly a year ago with his wife Beyonce and released his latest album 4:44 - had a net worth of $900 million, increasing his wealth over the last 12 months by an estimated $90 million.

That increase was largely derived from the booming value of his interests in Armand de Brignac champagne and D’Ussé cognac, as well as ownership stakes in record label Roc Nation and his Tidal music streaming service.

Eminem has admitted Paul Rosenburg has a big impact on his lyrics due to his brutal honesty.

The 'Walk On Water' rapper often finds it difficult to reign himself in when it comes to his often divisive rhymes, but he explained his manager's critique plays a massive part in helping him edit his work and realise when a song is ready to be heard by the wider world.

Speaking to Billboard magazine, Slim Shady said: ''Paul always tells me what I don't want to hear. But I gotta respect it, because it's not an easy job. When there's things that I may go too far on, whatever it is, he's the guy who's there to give me the truth. Usually, when we put our heads together and we agree on something, that's when we feel that something's ready to come out.''

Perfume Genius plans to ''joust'' with Eminem at Coachella.

The indie pop producer has been engaged in a feud with the rapper for years and after they were both announced on the bill for this year's festival, Perfume has revealed how he plans to escalate the situation.

He wrote on Twitter: ''For everyone asking...Yes I plan on fighting Eminem at Coachella. I want to joust (sic)''

Eminem teases the forthcoming video for his single 'Walk On Water', with a 30-second clip of him typing on a typewriter. It dropped earlier this week, but as of yet there are no details with regards to when the full video will be released.

In the clip, he can be seen typing earnestly at a desk, though not actually writing any real words at all, before casting the paper aside as several other people in the room do the same. It ends with him staring at a final sheet of paper in disbelief, though we do not see what has interrupted his work.
