Enter Shikari's new single, Arguing With Thermometers, is the second single from the band's third studio album, A Flash Flood of Colour, which was released through Ambush Reality on January 16th, 2012. Arguing With Thermometers follows on from lead single Sssnakepit, which as released in September 2011.
The video for Arguing With Thermometers sees the band emulating a news teams and performing on a street in the Bronx. The video was directed by Raul Gonzo.
Enter Shikari formed in 1999, when they went by the name Hybryd; they changed their name to their current moniker in 2003. Enter Shikari are: Rou Reynolds (guitar); Rory Clewlow (guitar); Chris Batten (bass) and Rob Rolfe (drums).
Their debut album, Take To The Skies, was released in 2007 and reached number four in the UK Album Charts. Their second album, Common Dreads, was released in 2009 but didn't manage to break into the top five, reaching number sixteen instead. However, A Flash Flood of Colour, upon its release, hit number one, making it the band's most successful album.
In addition to their studio albums, Enter Shikari have also released compilation albums and a DVD, Live From Planet Earth. Unfortunately, due to the London Riots in August 2011, the band's stock of non-limited edition of the DVD had been affected, due to a fire at the warehouse where it was being kept.
Enter Shikari are back. These boys don't so half-measures; it's about stamina, sweat and sounding huge and A Flash Flood Of Colour vastly overshadows the minor blip they had with their last album.
