New mum Eva Herzigova has infuriated neighbours living near her London mansion after announcing plans to completely renovate the property in a bid to make space for her expanding family.
The Czech supermodel gave birth to her second son, Philipe, earlier this month (Mar11) with partner, Gregorio Marsiaj.
Herzigova has already been granted permission to expand the lower floor of her home in London's affluent Chelsea district to make room for a staff kitchen and sitting room.
Now the catwalk beauty wants to renovate most the property, leaving only the facade in place, causing councillors at Kensington and Chelsea Council to reject the proposals because it would "spoil the character" of the residential area.
Herzigova has appealed the decision, causing angry residents to take legal action to fight the model's request, claiming noise, upheaval and disruption will be unbearable if it gets the go-ahead.
Neighbour Nick Tarling, who is behind the campaign against Herzigova's plans, says, "It is a very narrow road and because of the volume of soil that will be displaced and materials brought in, it would bring the whole place to a halt. No one would be able to get in or out - it would create all sorts of security risks. People feel she's being inconsiderate."
A final hearing is due in May (11).
