Eva Longoria Isn't Pregnant, She Just Ate A Load Of Cheese

Eva Longoria

Actress Eva Longoria has denied recent rumours that she’s pregnant after she was pictured with a slightly bloated tummy earlier this week – revealing that she actually just ate a load of cheese.

The former ‘Desperate Housewives’ star, 42, was seen in an image that did the rounds on the internet wearing a grey dress disguising what many initially thought to be a baby bump.

However, Longoria took to social media to assure fans that she wasn’t expecting, with the bloating simply the result of an allergic reaction to a “ball of cheese” she ate.

Eva Longoria Reveals Victoria Beckham Designed Her Wedding Dress

Eva Longoria Victoria Beckham

Eva Longoria has spoken about her wedding day earlier this month, revealing that her close friend Victoria Beckham designed her dress “with love”.

The 41 year old ‘Desperate Housewives’ star married her third husband, businessman Jose Antonio Baston, in a ceremony in Mexico on May 21st. Former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer Beckham also attended the wedding, and played a big part in the day.

Longoria revealed that Beckham had designed her silk crepe gown for the ceremony, as well as a separate dress for the post-dinner celebrations and another for a civil ceremony which took place the day before – to which Victoria was a witness.

She was thanked by Piper for helping her recover from her hospital stay many years ago. "I won a bravery award and Victoria gave me a dress," she said. The Spice Girls are back together! Ok, that was misleading. By “are” I mean “were” and by “together” I mean “in the same room, taking pictures for a couple of hours”. Also, there were only four of them. But other than that...

Posh, Sporty, Baby and Ginger reunited at David Beckham’s glamorous birthday party on Saturday, in Marrakech, Morocco. It was the presence of Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton that really spiced up the party, though.

Teri Hatcher Eva Longoria MARCIA CROSS Felicity Huffman

Teri Hatcher would be happy to star in a Desperate Housewives movie, although she does not think such a project is likely. The 48-year-old actress starred in the show as Susan Mayer and revealed, during an interview with Extra, that she'd be more than happy to reprise her role.

In the interview, Hatcher discussed the importance of the show's fans and their involvement in the character's possible future revival. She said "I love the fans of the show so much, and they don't seem to be done with those characters. I think it would be great for them."

Hot Tickets - US Movie Releases - Did We Need Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D? Opinion Divided By Matt Damon's Promised Land

Matt Damon Frances McDormand John Krasinski Gus Van Sant Andy Garcia Eva Longoria Forest Whitaker Mark Hamill Danny Trejo James Duval Sonny Chiba

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and Django Unchained are riding high at the top of the US box office charts and as the movie industry lurches slowly into the new year, it’s likely that they’ll remain there. After all, an unsolicited addition to the Texas Chainsaw collection is hardly going to have the pulling power to shift some of the biggest movies of last year off the top of that chart.

That, however, is one of the biggest movies of the week: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D. That’s right. An extra dimension has been added to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre story. No, we’re not sure why, either. The phrase “let’s leave well alone, shall we?” springs to mind. The horror genre was just fine and dandy with the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the other Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation and... okay all you need to know is that there are already seven of these movies.. but hey, now we have one in 3D, so that, presumably, you can fear not only for the safety of the characters onscreen, but also for the integrity of your own eyeballs, as chainsaw after chainsaw comes flying out of the screen and straight towards your face.

In a classic game of paper, scissors, stone, it becomes quickly apparent that ‘chainsaw’ beats ‘wooden door’ as good old Leatherface wreaks havoc with his favourite power tool once more. Unsurprisingly, it has been met with a tired response, with one reviewer on Rotten Tomatoes describing the film as a “giant turd of a movie.” So, probably not bound for big bucks box office success, then. Bound to divide audiences this one. Divide them between ‘Don’t really like it’ and ‘Really don’t like it,’ that is.

After Madonna's Booed Political Views, Are Celebs The Right People To Endorse Political Leaders?

Madonna Barack Obama Lindsay Lohan Eva Longoria

Madonna's latest tour MDNA has faced controversy for months. It began with her bizarre choice of using a swastika in a video included in the show, which she subsequently removed (The Guardian), and has continued with her unsympathetic use of a gun at a concert in Denver just months after 12 innocent people were murdered in a gun rampage in the city. Most recently in her endorsement of Barack Obama she referred to him as a 'black Muslim' (when actually he's a mixed race Christian) and told the crowd in New Orleans to vote for him, resulting in waves of boos and cheers, reported by the LA Times.

Despite repeated controversy, Madonna nevertheless persists in her 'political statements' and has never shied away from letting the world know her opinion. It ends up begging the question, firstly whether her comments will actually affect anyone's political view points- thus whether her statements are really worth their salt? And secondly, whether celebrities are the right kind of people to be endorsing anyone? The answer to these questions is largely 'no', but on some conditions.

Firstly, no, almost no one will be affected by her comments and therefore they really aren't worth much. Yes, she'll have some crazed fans who will do whatever she says. This would probably include eating their pet's excrement if the Vogue star said it was a good idea. Everyone else (hopefully) is autonomous enough to make up their own mind. And secondly, no, celebs on the whole are probably not the right people to do political endorsing. Or at least, not always. Eva Longoria gave a rousing speech that made a lot of sense and was well informed at the Democratic National Convention saying "Eva Longoria flipping burgers at Wendy's needed a tax break, Eva Longoria on movie sets does not". Sadly, there are far too many celebs like Lindsay Lohan who chop and change their political views as and when it suits their own needs, which may just effect those 'crazed fans' and may just sway the vote on ungrounded views.

Eva Longoria And Mark Sanchez Split After Short Lived Relationship

Eva Longoria Mark Sanchez

Eva Longoria and Mark Sanchez had been dating for around 4 months, but in a terrible week for the New York Jets quarterback, he lost the game and his girlfriend.

Eva broke up with Sanchez during the weekend, after just four months together. The LA Times reports a source saying; "Mark says he is really upset about the breakup with Eva. He is telling friends he tried everything he could to make her happy, and to make things work between them, but they live in very different worlds," a person close to the situation told the New York Post." The source said, "The problem was Mark is very focused on football, while Eva is a busy businesswoman. She lives in Los Angeles, is doing a lot of philanthropic and political work, and is developing a number of TV shows."

The Jets have had a difficult start to the season, with another poor result this past weekend. Reports say that Longoria broke up with Sanchez the night before the big game against the New England Patriots, which the team lost by three points. Sanchez's representative said that he "adores and respects Eva." and that "They will remain close friends." While Sanchez no longer has any control over his relationship with Eva, perhaps he'll plow some of the inevitable post-breakup angst into the next Jets game and come out with that win the whole team are after.

Love, Sex, Magic: Congratulations to Justin Timberlake and wife Jessica Biel, who married in Italy over the weekend. Though the ceremony was pretty hush-hush, we know Questlove kept up his recent string of wedding DJ duties: but did he play any N-Sync?

Bond Beauties: Daniel Craig was flanked by his stunning co-stars Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris at the London premiere of James Bond, Skyfall, on Tuesday. In what will surely go down as the glitziest premiere of the year, the stars were out in force. But who was the best dressed?

Desperate Housewife: Good news guys, Eva Longoria is single again, after breaking off her relationship with NFL star Mark Sanchez. She’s also had her Tony Parker tattoo removed, leaving a pretty nasty looking red mark.

Romance Over For Eva Longoria And Mark Sanchez

Eva Longoria Mark Sanchez

Eva Longoria has ditched her romance with New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, according to the New York Post.

The pair have been dating for just four months, but the 25 year-old is reportedly devastated at his split from the Desperate Housewives star.

“Mark says he is really upset about the break-up with Eva” source told the Post. “He is telling friends he tried everything he could to make her happy, and to make things work between them, but they live in very different worlds.” The insider went on to talk about the pair’s conflicting busy schedules; “The problem was Mark is very focused on football, while Eva is a busy businesswoman. She lives in Los Angeles, is doing a lot of philanthropic and political work, and is developing a number of TV shows, including the NBC dating series Ready for Love.”

Eva Longoria And Mark Sanchez Split After Just 2 Months

Eva Longoria Mark Sanchez

Has Eva Longoria learnt nothing from 8 years of Desperate Housewives? Dating the muscular gardener 12 years your junior will only lead to heart-ache and pain. Full stop. Okay, so maybe Mark Sanchez is a pro-American Football player rather than a gardener, and yes he's 25 and long out of high-school, but nevertheless, the lesson should still stand. Well perhaps she has learned, the hard way, as Longoria (37) and Sanchez (25) have let the sun set on their relationship after dating for just two months.

Sanchez's representative says the split was amiable. "Mark adores and respects Eva. It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends," apparently. According to the Huffington Post, the different between the two wasn't just limited to scheduling, but also to personal interests. Where Sanchez likes to go out, Longoria is far more focussed on her charitable works, career and most importantly at the moment, her co-chair position in the re-election campaign for Barack Obama.

Longoria has recently had a tattoo dedicated to her ex-husband removed from the back of her neck, and before Sanchez was dating Latino singer Eduardo Cruz, the brother of Penelope Cruz. Although we're sure Eva would probably not relish a relationship as drama-filled as what her character in Desperate Housewives endured, we still hope she finds her real life Carlos.

Will Lindsay Lohan Vote For Mitt Romney Or Barack Obama?

Lindsay Lohan Barack Obama Eva Longoria Brad Pitt Jamie Foxx Natalie Portman Scarlett Johansson

Will Lindsay Lohan really vote for Mitt Romney at the U.S. Presidential Elections in three weeks’ time? Granted, it’s probably not the question on everyone’s lips at the moment, though we thought we’d ask it anyway: just for the hell of it.

The troubled actress raised a couple of eyebrows last week when she revealed Mitt Romney was likely to get her vote at the election. During a frenzied red-carpet appearance, Lohan was asked everything from her current relationship status to her hair color, though it was her answer to a fairly innocuous question about the elections that made the headlines. No doubt the reporter anticipated that Lohan would pledge her allegiance to Obama and be done with it, though – shock horror – she threw her support behind Romney. Her reasons? “I just think unemployment is really important, so as of now I think it's Mitt Romney…As of now,” she said. So it looks as though there’s still time for President Obama to twist Lindsay’s arm, though we’re not sure if he’ll be too bothered. According to the New York Daily News, the actress isn’t even a registered voter, with Angie Comer of the Los Angeles County Registrar saying, “Her status is inactive. She did not vote. Her records would be there…She could go to her old voting place if she wants to vote in this election or there's an option to update her registration online.” So that’s that then.

President Obama seems to have the backing of pretty much everyone else in Hollywood – Brad Pitt, Eva Longoria, Jamie Foxx, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, you name it – though the election is likely to go down to the wire.

Eva Longoria Giggles And Avoids Mark Sanchez Questions At Alma Awards

Eva Longoria Mark Sanchez MARC CHERRY Christina Aguilera Jake Gyllenhaal Nicole Richie Robert Rodriguez

A giggling Eva Longoria Parker managed to avoid questions about her private life at the 2012 Alma Awards. According to Latino Fox News, the Desperate Housewives star managed to side-step any questions about her blossoming romance with Mark Sanchez. Eva Longoria has recently been pictured stepping out with yet another toyboy; the New York Jets quarterback, Sanchez. And in the scorching 92 degree heat at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, Longoria managed to keep her cool in the face of some tough questioning.

There was no Eva Longoria boyfriend in sight but when she was asked “how did you meet Mark Sanchez and what did you find attractive about him?” she simply “giggled coyly and walked away from the press line.” She may not have answered any questions about her personal life, but Eva’s career has been going from strength to strength, since the end of the long-running Desperate Housewives series. She has already produced the movie ‘The Harvest' and will soon be directing, too. Longoria will be acting as executive producer of new show ‘Devious Maids’ alongside MARC CHERRY and will also be directing a few of the episodes, as well.

Eva was the co-host and producer of the Alma Awards and was particularly enthused about the award that was being given to Christina Aguilera. “Christina does a lot of work philanthropically so we wanted to honor that, she’s awesome,” said Eva, before Aguilera was given her Special Achievement Award that evening. The event was also attended by Jake Gyllenhaal, Nicole Richie and Robert Rodriguez.

Arthur Christmas Review

Very Good

This lively holiday romp has a steady stream of sharp verbal and visual gags that hold our interest. Even when the plot stalls in the middle, it's difficult to stop chuckling at the filmmakers' deranged sense of humour.

At the North Pole, Santa (Broadbent) is a bit complacent after 70 years on the job, letting his heir-apparent son Steve (Laurie) convert Christmas Eve into a high-tech black-ops style mission executed with military precision. To Steve, missing one child is an insignificant statistic. But Steve's younger brother Arthur (McAvoy) disagrees, and teams up with his feisty Grandsanta (Nighy) to make sure the last gift is delivered the old fashioned way.

Yes, the film is a riot of clashes between tradition and progress, the wisdom of the years and youthful vigour. Fortunately, the serious themes are subverted, hilariously playing with our expectations and never turning into a nostalgic paean to the olden days. That said, this British production does feel eerily co-opted by Hollywood, from the use of the American "Santa Claus" (no one ever calls him "Father Christmas", which might have made sense of the film's odd title) to the somewhat feeble attempts to ramp up the action and suspense. Not to mention a massive wave of sentimentality at the end.

But even this is undermined by Baynham (Borat) and director Smith's script, which maintains a dry British sense of humour and gives the strong vocal cast plenty of snappy material to play with. While most of the characters are a bit unmemorable, Nighy gets the best lines: Grandsanta as an old coot full of surprises, including some terrific rude jokes and an amusingly animated hound-style old reindeer sidekick. Staunton also has some terrific dialog as the underestimated Mrs Santa.

Visually the film is brightly colourful, amusingly designed with small sight gags and continual Christmas imagery. While the characters look a little plasticky, the settings are gorgeously rendered, and the flying sleigh sequences almost make it worth seeing in 3D. The problem is that the film feels stretched out by random antics and underdeveloped plot-threads along the way that add nothing to the overall story. So we get tired of the bumbling chaos, mainly because we know exactly where it's got to end up.

Over Her Dead Body Review

Very Good
"'Til death do us part" rarely works in Hollywood, where screenwriters bring soul mates back as actual souls to haunt the loved ones they've recently departed.

The latest spirit disturbed for the good of a joke is Kate (Eva Longoria Parker), the classic "Bridezilla" who bites the dust on her wedding day. Kate is crushed by an ice-sculpted angel, a gruesome death that leads to one of several sharp gags when Kate ends up in heavenly Limbo. Blocked from entering the afterlife, Kate must return to Earth -- she assumes -- to protect her fiancé Henry (Paul Rudd) from any advancing love interests. But that's only half true, much to Kate's chagrin.

The Sentinel (2006) Review

Weak
The Sentinel is one of those movies made for commercials and trailers full of shots of well-dressed Secret Service agents running and impassioned scenes where actors bark out lines like, "He's looking for an ally and the First Lady is a fine one to have." Rarely do these movies translate well into a longer format, and The Sentinel is far from the exception.

Directed by Clark Johnson (he of the awful S.W.A.T.), The Sentinel stars Michael Douglas and Kiefer Sutherland as former friends forced to become allies after a plot reveals an unknown mole inside the Secret Service. Pete Garrison (Douglas) is a veteran agent drawn deeper into the plot after his affair with the President's wife (Kim Basinger, playing the curviest First Lady ever) is revealed, leading investigator David Breckinridge (Sutherland) to turn his attentions to Garrison. Meanwhile, TV's babe of the moment Eva Longoria co-stars as Breckinridge's sexy new partner and Garrison's protégé.

OK
Maybe I am simply not male enough to grasp the full appeal of the seedier parts of Los Angeles, but something about the great cruel fraternity of violence and honor and drugs proves irresistible to bullish young filmmakers. In Harsh Times, the latest film to make South Central L.A. its playground, screenwriter and first-time director David Ayer once again falls victim to these terribly masculine charms.

Jim (Christian Bale) is a vet of the first Gulf War, haunted by trippy dreams of the things he saw and did over there, and hanging on by the thinnest thread now that he's back. He talks a good game about the good times just ahead, when he will get a job with the LAPD, marry his Mexican girlfriend, and bring her across the border. In the meantime, with no job coming through, he spends his days tooling around South Central with his best friend Mike (Freddy Rodriguez), sucking down astounding quantities of beer and running petty schemes to get money, drugs, and tail.

Desperate Housewives: Season One Review

Excellent
It is telling that two of the principle cast-members of Desperate Housewives - Doug Savant and Marcia Cross - were residents of Melrose Place before moving to the now famous home of housewives desperate, Wisteria Lane. Both locales share a propensity for the hysterical and seem popular public launderettes for those with dirty, dirty laundry. Like the twentysomethings that shared their beds in Melrose, the housewives -- divorced, depressed, and desperate -- are a creatively troubled group and their many mishaps make for meaty viewing.

To some, it would be blasphemous to compare Marc Cherry's Desperate Housewives to the enjoyable but undeniably schlocky Melrose, but this I do freely and with confidence.
