Multi-million selling married couple Faith Hill and Tim Mcgraw have announced a 10 week Las Vegas residency at the Venetian hotel. The couple will perform four shows a weekend, starting on December 7, 2012 and running into April 2013, reports Rolling Stone magazine.

The performances - dubbed 'Soul2Soul - were announced at a press conference this week in which the couple promised a very difference experience for their audience. Of their previous performances together, MCGraw explained, "Soul2Soul tours were really just her and I doing a tour. They were great - we started out with two songs together and she would do her show, then we would do two songs together, then I would do my show, then we would end with a couple of songs. So we did duets and it was our tour together, but it wasn't like it was a show about us completely". The couple were initially approached by the lavish Venetian hotel, with Hill calling their organization of the event "first class". The hotel is actually revamping a suite for them, which has four bedrooms, a fireplace, a media room, an exercise room and plenty more. The arena itself is far smaller than either star is used to - seating just over 1,800 fans - though Hill doesn't see this as a problem, saying, "Just the idea of creating such a unique show with 1800 seats, for us, we've never actually done a show like this together".
Fans can expect to hear Faith Hill and Tim MCGraw duets originally by George Jones and Tammy Wynette, and by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. MCGraw explained, "We thought about all of those - Marvin and Tammi, of course George and Tammy - always a classic. There are a few of those that we're gonna investigate. We want to do some covers, but we want to find the right ones".
