Set in China 1937 around the battle of Nanjing. The Japanese army has just taken the capital city of Nanjing and what was to follow the citizens could never envisage. In the weeks following the takeover thousands of Chinese POW's and citizens were brutally treated and murdered.
A commander named Lu leads a small group of fighters in street to street combat the Chinese took on the mass waves of relentless Japanese fighters. Even though the men were barley equipped with weapons they fought for their city. Most Nanking citizens fled to the safety zone, a place for young and old refugees alike to find a small amount of safety, this wasn't to last, even though the Japanese Army wasn't based inside the safety zone, they repeatedly entered looking to murder Chinese soldiers in hiding. As the war develops, closure is forced on the safety zone. The rightly named Nanjing Massacre made a huge impact on the lives of everyone involved on both sides.
