Olive is a straight up girl, she works hard in classes, she isn't one of the most popular kids in school but she's happy enough being herself and hanging with her true friends - one of which is called Brandon. Olive is the only person he's confided in and told that he's actually gay but that doesn't stop the homophobic school bullies from laying into him every day. Brandon propositions Olive with an idea, a fake fling. Go to a party, lock themselves in a bedroom and let all hear what they want to think is going on.
As the word spreads of what Olive has done for Brandon, more and more boys approach asking her to undertake a similar deal. As Olive sees it, there're plenty of benefits for each party in the proposal; she gets money and the guys get a bit of corridor cred. All is going well until Olive becomes nothing more than the school floozy. As it becomes clear that she can no longer continue with her current way of life, Olive begins to try and find a way to restore her flawless reputation.
Who would've known that what started out to be an innocent(-ish) favour for a friend would turn out to be a reputation making and breaking scenario.
