Florence + The Machine Have Become The Latest Act To Back Eagles of Death Metal's Charity Drive By Covering One Of The Band's Songs.
The U.S. rockers launched the Play it Forward initiative to raise money for the victims of last month's (Nov15) terror attacks in Paris, France following the massacre at their gig which killed nearly 90 revellers.
The campaign urges musicians to record and release a new version of their track I Love You All the Time, and Florence Welch's band is the latest big name act to contribute a cover.
The group's recording, which also features British rockers The Maccabees, has been released on iTunes and it joins offerings from Kings Of Leon, Imagine Dragons, Jimmy Eat World, and My Morning Jacket.
Welch announced the news in a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, and urged fans to download the track to bring in cash for The Sweet Stuff Foundation, the charity set up by Eagles of Death Metal founder Josh Homme to help struggling musicians and their families.
"I Love You All The Time ft @themaccabees... In support of @EODMofficial Play It Forward," she tweets. "All publishing royalties to go to @dothesweetstuff..."
