Boxing champ floyd mayweather, Jr. has been hit with an $80,000 (£53,333) lawsuit over four tickets to a showpiece basketball match.

The welterweight allegedly booked three courtside seats worth $25,000 (£16,666) each for the crunch tie between San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat in June (13).

He also allegedly bought a ticket for a place in the first row for $5,000 (£3,333) but the bill has not been paid, according to documents obtained by Tmz.com.

Bosses of premium ticket agency White Glove International are reportedly now suing the star for the outstanding $80,000 bill plus interest.

Miami Heat beat their rivals 95-88 to retain the National Basketball Association (Nba) title.
