Fact: Moviemaker Francis Lawrence had to recast the cat featured in The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire after receiving a special request from author Suzanne Collins. The 2012 release, directed by Gary Ross, featured a black-and-white feline as Prim's pet, despite being described in the books the films are based on as having a yellow coat, inspiring his name Buttercup. The casting complaint has since been rectified for the new action adventure.
