The 38-year-old actor has undergone surgery after encountering some "disc issues". Prinze Jr. has kept his fans up to date with his progress via Twitter since undergoing surgery on 20th November.

Prinze first alerted his fans to the news on 20th November when he uploaded pictures on Twitter before and after his surgery. The first "before" photo showed Prinze on the operating table but still smiling, the "after" picture was taken in a car and showed the actor wearing a neck brace.

Prinze, although wearing a neck brace initially, also shared photographs of his operation scar. The scar appears to be a couple of inches across his neck and covered by transparent gauze. The Delgo actor has been optimistic about his operation and recovering, even nicknaming himself "Robo-bro", "Brobot" and "the Iron Android".

Fortunately, only a few days after undergoing surgery, Prinze was well enough to start exercising. Four days after Prinze's operation, on Monday (24th November), he tweeted a photograph of himself with a neck brace and added the caption "Already getting my miles in". Later the same week, Prinze Jr. tweeted that he was making further progress, writing: "#KeepItPlayful Learnin [sic] to walk again is like learning jiu-jitsu - 1 technique at a time."

Media sources have seemingly been widely speculating about Prinze's progress since his operation. In response, Prinze confirmed on Saturday (29th November) that he had simply had "some disc issues that have been resolved."
