British singer Gary Barlow is set to perform his first full solo shows in more than a decade.
The Take That star went out on his own in 1996 following the boyband's break-up, and released two albums before shying away from the limelight in 1999.
The group, minus Robbie Williams, made a successful comeback in 2005 and Barlow has boosted his profile by taking over from Simon Cowell as a judge on Britain's The X Factor.
Now the star is ready to return to the solo spotlight while Take That is on hiatus, and he's announced two gigs for charity at London's Royal Albert Hall on 5 and 6 December (11).
Williams, who rejoined Take That last year (10) for their first full tour in 16 years, has also announced he is working on a new solo album set for release in 2012.
