Gary Sinise has cancelled concert appearances after being injured in a car crash.
The 57-year-old performer has scrapped some forthcoming gigs with his Lt. Dan Band after being involved in an accident on Friday (30.03.12) when he was a passenger in a vehicle.
A spokeswoman for the actor - who stars on CBS drama 'CSI: NY' - would not reveal the extent of his injuries.
He was due to perform at a fundraising event last weekend in Martinsville, Virginia - which is set to be rescheduled - and next week in Palm Desert, California, but that concert has been cancelled completely.
Despite the accident, it is not thought 'CSI: NY' - which has completed production for the series - will be affected by his injuries.
Gary has starred as Mac Taylor in the TV show since 2004, and he has regularly worked alongside Tom Hanks in 'Forrest Gump', 'Apollo 13', and 'The Green Mile'.
