Despite the relentless George Clooney and Stacy Keibler breakup rumors, the pair still attended the premier for Argo, arm-in-arm, reports E! Online.

Their public appearance together has moved to quell the rumors that a breakup is on the cards, but it was nearly a month ago that they first moved to prove them wrong. "A story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true. Total fabrication designed to sell newspapers," explained the actor's rep, Stan Rosenfield, to E! in early September 2012. But the specualtion persisted, and now the pair have braved the public eye to really set the record straight. They didn't stop for interviews, though, probably for fear of a barrage of questions surrounding their relationship. Clooney, 51, and Keibler, 32, began dating more than a year ago.

What they would have really liked people to focus on is the film of which they were attending, Argo, which Clooney helped produce. Ben Affleck stars in film, whilst he also directed it. It sees a CIA ex-filtration specialist enact a risky plan to free six Americans by posing as a TV crew, and is based on a true story. So far, the reviews have been positive, and given the film's positive reception at recent film festivals, it's being tipped as an Academy Award outsider, but will face stiff competition from Steven Spielberg's Lincoln and Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master.
