Scottish actor Gerard Butler's muscles were enhanced by technical filming tricks in the historic epic 300 to beef up the actor's already bulging physique. Butler, who was frequently filmed topless in the film inspired by Frank Miller's graphic novel, endured six weeks of strenuous training to get in shape for the role of LEONIDAS the Spartans leader. Post-production specialist PIERRE RAYMOND, who worked on the film says, "When you make a decision to shoot guys that are very well built, if you light them and start to play on contrast and have very dark scenes you will naturally increase the body's details."
