Gisele Bündchen has created a coffee table book, simply entitled Gisele, to celebrate her 20 years working in the fashion industry. This is no ordinary book and, if you have plans on buying it, you’ll be forking out a hefty fee for the privilege of gaining an exclusive insight into the career of the 35-year-old Brazilian-born model. The book is retailing at the bargain price of $700.

So what can you expect for your money?

Bündchen has loving put the 536 page book together, as Forbes reports. Bündchen has acted as the curator and art director of the project with the help of creative director Giovanni Bianco.

The book, published by Taschen, will feature over 300 images of the model at various points throughout her career including magazine covers, fashion campaigns and runway snaps.

The images were taken by such prestigious fashion photographers as Juergen Teller, Corinne Day, Inez & Vinoodh, Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, and David LaChapelle.

In addition to the images, there’s also written tributes from members of the fashion industry and Bündchen’s family.

The book is slated for release in November of this year. It’s available for pre-order now but it’s likely to get snapped up quick. Only 1000 copies of the Collector’s Edition in English are going on sale. 500 of these will be sold as an Art Edition, at the price of $2000, and will include a signed Juergen Teller print of Bündchen.

A standard edition and a Collector’s Edition will be produced in Portuguese for sale in Bündchen’s native Brazil.

The price might seem steep but all proceeds from the sale of the book are being donated to charity.
