‘American Horror Story’ has expanded its cast ahead of its upcoming sixth season, with the addition of former ‘Glee’ actor Jacob Artist to the FX show this week.

The 23 year old actor revealed the news himself via Instagram on Monday night (September 12th), captioning a shot of a script simply “Day 1” – taking care to block out the subtitle for the new season which premieres on Wednesday night at 10pm. Nevertheless, it was taken down a short time later.

‘Glee’ star Mark Salling has been arrested for possession of child pornography on his personal computer, it has been confirmed by police.

Crime Watch Daily originally broke the story early on Tuesday morning (December 29th) that the Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit served a search warrant on an address in Sunland, California, a property apparently solely occupied by the 33 year old actor but officially belongs to a Jonathan Hernandez, who has been a roommate of Salling as far back as 2011.

According to a subsequent report by TMZ, Salling had more than a thousand indecent images downloaded to his computer. Police also seized other electronic devices, such as tablets and cellphones, in addition to taking him to a police station to be processed.

Polly Bergen, the US actress best known for her roles in such classic films as Cape Fear and for her television appearances on The Sopranos and Desperate Housewives, has died at the age of 84.

Polly Bergen has died at the age of 84.

Bergen was born in 1930 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her career began in the late 1940s and she became a household name when she starred in The Helen Morgan Story, for which she won an Emmy award in 1958.

Matt Bendik, the boyfriend of Glee star Becca Tobin, has been found dead in a Philadelphia hotel room. The body was discovered on Thursday (10th July) and reports of his death have been confirmed by a Philadelphia Medical Examiner.

Lea Michele's new boyfriend Matthew Paetz is certainly handsome, muscly and. a former gigolo? The former Glee star's love life has been under scrutiny over the last few months as it's almost a year (a month today to be precise) since her boyfriend Cory Monteith tragically died. Although Michele has been keeping her relationship with Paetz quiet, rumours have already begun to circulate which suggest her new beau may have a shady past.

Michele and Paetz are officially a couple, according to People. They met in April on the set of Michele's music video for 'On My Way' in which he appears as an extra, although interestingly does not have the part of Michele's on camera love interest.

Hit television drama Glee will conclude at the end of its next season, the show's co-creator Ryan Murphy has announced. The news comes in light of the death of one of the lead cast members, Cory Monteith, in July. The saddening event caused Murphy to reconsider the ending of the entire series.

The Joyful Musical Series Was Rocked By Cory Monteith's Death.

Monteith, who played Finn Hudson, died after an overdose of heroin mixed with alcohol and was found in a Vancouver hotel room. The Glee cast and crew, including his on and off screen girlfriend Lea Michele, were devastated by the loss and honored their former friend and colleague in a tribute episode during the currently airing season five, broadcast last week, and well as a special segment at this year's Emmy Awards.

Cory Monteith's father, Joe Monteith, has opened up about his son's tragic death a day before the highly anticipated Glee tribute to his son.

Cory Monteith died in July of a heroin overdose.

Cory was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room in July and had overdosed on a lethal mix of heroin and champagne. Following the younger Monteith's untimely death on 13th July of this year, there was an outpouring of grief from his co-stars, many in the entertainment community and Glee fans worldwide. His family have remained largely silent until now.

Cory Monteith's final film McCanick is due to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9th. In one of his final roles, Monteith plays Simon Weeks a drug addict and recently released prisoner. According to reports by MTV, Weeks is suspected of a murder he committed whilst in his teens, he is tracked down by two detectives: Eugene 'Mack' McCanick (David Morse) and Floyd Intrator (Mike Vogel).

The trailer suggests Monteith's character is likely innocent of the suspected crime. One character warns the irritable McCanick "he's done bad things but he is not a killer", whilst the detective retorts "you don't know him as well as you think." This could be a red herring in itself, but we shall have to wait and see!

Lea Michele dedicated her Teen Choice award to her late boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith. Michele's acceptance speech was tearful but she continued smiling bravely. She said the late actor, who died last month, was "very special"; had a "beautiful heart" and "incredible talent".

Michele climbed on to the stage with Glee's version of Journey 'Don't Stop Believin'' blaring in the background. Michele appeared genuinely thrilled at having won her award for Best Comedy Actress, smiling broadly and placing her hands on her heart.

Since Glee star Cory Monteith died last month as the result of a deadly overdose of heroin and alcohol, fans of the show as well as the Glee cast and crew have mourned the loss of the talented singer and actor. Having been known to have battled drug problems since aged 19, the 31 year-old was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room after he failed to check out.

To say that the late Glee actor Cory Monteith meant the world to co-star Lea Michele would be an understatement. Not only did the pair's characters - Rachel and Finn - date on screen in the high school comedy musical series, but their fictional romance was reflected in real life with the pair having dated for a year at the time of Monteith's untimely passing. Partners on and off screen, their love grew out of their working relationship that blossomed into friendship.

Monteith was discovered dead by hotel staff when he failed to check out of a Vancouver room after an evening out with friends. Although an initial autopsy doubted substance abuse as a cause, a following toxicology report revealed that a deadly cocktail of heroin and alcohol had caused a death by overdose. The 31 year-old was known to have had drug issues in the past, having been in and out of rehab several times, but after a rehab stint in April appeared to be clean.

Lea Michele, the girlfriend and co-star of the late Cory Monteith, has expressed her gratitude to fans via Twitter. The actress tweeted to her fans: "thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love and support".

Monteith was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room on 13th July where he had overdosed on a mix of heroin and alcohol. Michele, following Monteith's death, remained silent until yesterday (29th July) when she finally spoke out saying: "Cory will forever be in my heart".  She also attached a photo of the couple smiling together.

Glee creator Ryan Murphy has said the show will go on following the death of Cory Monteith, who starred in the comedy-musical series as Finn. The 31-year-old was found on 13th July in his Vancouver hotel room, a coroner ruled he had died on a heroin and alcohol overdose. On the death of his colleague and friend, Murphy said in an interview with E!, "it's hard to even explain how personally upsetting it is."

He went on to relate the last time he had spoken to Monteith. An incident had occurred where the cast had discovered Monteith was using again and Murphy was instrumental in ensuring Monteith went into a rehab facility. Monteith, following an intervention, arranged by Murphy and Lea Michelle, said "I want to get better". Murphy went on to say  "I always felt and continue to feel even in his death that he did, that he really wanted to fight it and he was humiliated and shamed".

Cory Monteith's death was a result of a drug overdose, a coroner ruled yesterday.The 31-year-old actor was found dead on Sunday (13th July) in a hotel room in Vancouver. He had been staying there since 6th July and was due to check out the same day.

The Glee star's death has attracted worldwide publicity and Monteith's autopsy was rushed through (scheduled a day after his death) due to the public's interest. Yesterday (Tuesday 16th July), the cause of his death was announced by a British Colombian Coroner as being an overdose of heroin and alcohol. The Coroner stated his death was a "tragic accident" and he "died of a mixed drug toxicity involving heroin and alcohol", according to Fox News.

Cory Monteith's final role before his untimely death was as a "lost soul on the streets of Philadelphia," in Josh Waller's drama McCanick. The Glee star - who was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room over the weekend - convinced the filmmaker to give him a chance at the gritty role.

Cory Monteith’s Glee colleagues have expressed sadness and paid tributes after the young actor was found dead on Saturday in a Canada hotel. The 31-year-old’s death hasn’t been investigated fully yet, but while a cause of death is awaiting, foul play isn’t suspected, The Guardian Report.

Cory Monteith was found dead at noon on Saturday 13th July 2013. He'd been staying at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver. The actor was due to leave the hotel after a week's stay but failed check out at noon. His body was discovered by hotel staff and early reports suggest the 31-year-old had been dead for several hours. Reports have not indicated why the Calgary born actor was staying alone in Vancouver.

If Glee isn’t careful, it’ll start being called a reality TV show rather than a musical sitcom; the all-singing all-dancing comedy has enlisted Adam Lambert, who was runner up in the eight season of American Idol. Showrunner and co-creator Ryan Murphy announced the news on Wednesday with a Tweet.

Jayma May who plays obsessive compulsive guidance councillor, Emma Pillbury, on Glee will be leaving the show. Rumours have been spreading about the possibility but sources speaking to E! have confirmed they are true.

May will, according to E!'s source, be starring alongside Will Arnett in CBS's drama The Millers. She will be playing the part of Arnett's sister Debbie (a part played in the pilot by Mary Elizabeth Ellis). The Millers follows a family of four Arnett and May as siblings and their parents played by Beau Miller and Margo Martindale. Arnett decides to divorce his wife and his father follows suit. Also starring in the sitcom are Eve Moon and comedian J.B.Smoove.

Matthew Morrison has proudly announced his engagement to model Renee Puente after two years of dating.Well, he didn't actually announce it; it was his good friends Elton John and David Furnish who made the revelation right before bursting into a fitting rendition of Elton's 1970 single 'Your Song' at the annual White Tie and Tiara Ball which benefitted his AIDS Foundation charity.

Although we don't yet know just how the 'Glee' star popped the question, we can only assume it was majorly sweet as he didn't struggle listing off his recent romantic endeavours in an interview with the Huffington Post. Asked what is the most romantic thing he's ever done for Renee, he said: 'Hard to pick just one thing. We are really both into horses. Every new city or place we go, we always try to find a place to go horseback riding. One time in particular, after our horseback riding, we went along this beach in Hawaii. I set up this nice little picnic.' Awwwwww! Though given his love of musicals, singing and dancing, we're wondering if he maybe pulled out the big guns with a flash mob?? But then, this guy's way too modest for that.

Actor Scott Speedman is to join the cast of Glee creator Ryan Murphy's new HBO drama Open. HBO have confirmed the actor will join the forthcoming drama which deals with sexuality and identity, according to sources speaking to The Hollywood Reporter.

The drama will explore issues surround sexuality and sexual identity, themes touched upon in Glee. Speedman is to play Jonathon a sports agent alongside Wes Bentley. Bentley's role is that of Evan Foster a character who is more than comfortable dictating his theories of sexuality.

Speedman has starred in such films as Underworld and The Strangers. Bentley has appeared in The Hunger Games and Jonah Hex.

Glee’s Jane Lynch and Lara Embry are officially getting divorced. The pair have been married for three years, but have decided to call it a day on their marriage.

Lynch revealed the news to People Magazine, telling them how their relationship had become increasingly difficult to manage over recent years and that the two had decided to end things mutually in the end. She said, “Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another,” Lynch said in a statement posted on the magazine’s website. “We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter.”

Lynch is also the stepmother to Embry’s daughter, Haden, and although the pair are ending their marriage, Jane plans on being a part of the child's upbringing. "My greatest pleasure is Haden, my stepdaughter," she told People last March. "I am surprised how much love you feel and how you would do anything for your children."

Singer and actress Charice Pempengco, who plays Sunshine Corazon on Glee, has come out as gay during an interview on a Philippines talk show. Pempengco broke the news in the interview this weekend, with the world's press gradually picking up her announcement made in the Asian nation.

The native Filipino admitted that she is a lesbian during a discussion on the Asian nation's popular ABS CBN celebrity-based show The Buzz, a bold move to make in a predominantly Catholic country, even for one of it's biggest stars. However rather than face a backlash Pempengco has instead been supported by many Catholic institutes across the country, with high-ranking church and government official Father Melvin Castro jumping to her defence.

“In this time of her life that she is experiencing an identity crisis regarding her sexual orientation, we would rather not pre-judge her,” he said in a recent interview in the Philippines press, adding, “Let’s hope that there will be people out there that will help guide her with her sexual orientation called same sex attraction.”

The Glee actor Cory Monteith has checked into rehab, according to a story from People. Apparently, the 30 year-old admitted himself into rehab voluntarily, to deal with substance addictions. He’s been known to have suffered from issues relating to addiction in the past and his rep told People that he has “voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction.”

His rep added “he graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.” Back in 2011, Monteith spoke about past issues that he had had with substance abuse and revealed that he had been in rehab before, when was aged just 19. During the interview, he explained that he hoped that being public and honest about his rehab would help other people going through similar struggles. “I don't want kids to think it's okay to drop out of school and get high, and they'll be famous actors, too," he said, back in 2011. "But for those people who might give up: Get real about what you want and go after it.”

In another report, from Deadline, a spokesperson from the Fox network revealed that the show has two more episodes to shoot in the current series. “Cory is a beloved member of the Glee family and we fully support his decision to seek treatment,” said the show’s producers 20th Century Fox. ““Everyone at the show wishes him well and looks forward to his return.”

Katy Perry performed at the Kids Inaugural Concert, hosted by Michelle Obama in Washington D.C. this week, MTV News reports.

During the performance, the singer showed off her patriotism (and her figure) in a tight fitting, red, white and blue bodice and shorts – of course, what else would Katy Perry be dressed in. The outfit had very obvious pin up girl influences, but for once, her wardrobe didn’t get the singer in trouble with concerned parents – unlike her appearance on Sesame Street, when her cleavage earned Perry a slap on the wrist from the groups of parents.

Whether or not Katy did a good job with the songs, which is arguable at best, the show was worth a watch for the performance at least. The set, albeit not too thematic, featured some of the pop star’s biggest hits, including Teenage Dream, Part of Me, Wide Awake and Firework, which she dedicated to children with parents in the military – always a sure way to get an ovation at the end. In fact, the entire concert had military families and mind and each act took time out of their set to express their support and admiration for the troops and their loved ones. The concert celebrated Barack Obama’s second term in office and it also featured stars like Usher and the Glee cast – a complete teenage dream, one might say. Rachel and Finn have had a very tumultuous relationship in Glee, to say the least. But in real life the actors who play both those characters have a dream-like relationship. 

Lea Michele (Rachel) and Cora Monteith (Finn) have been dating for months but they only unveiled the news publicly on Ellen, to its host Ellen Degeneres. Ellen asked him about 'Monchele' and what it means. He replied "Well, of course I know what Monchele is... it's Monteith and Michele... Yeah [we are a couple]." The news of which inspired the audience to scream their approval. 

Despite both looking as though they're in high school, like their famous Glee characters, Michele is in fact 26 while Cory is 30, and it's right about time for a grown-up relationship. Michele is gracing the cover of Marie Claire this month in which she has spoken about her relationship with Cory. "I don't even remember a time when he wasn't my boyfriend. No one knows me better than Cory," quotes NY Daily News. "No one knows what it's been like to go through this more than he does. Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther... He makes me feel like I can do anything. For the first time in my life, I feel really, really settled and happy. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world."

Whilst people across America were digging into their roast turkeys, the people over at Fox had their own special Thanksgiving gift for the nation: a brand new episode of Glee. A don't you worry, as it in no way disappointed whatsoever.

Having stolen New Directions' National Champs trophy, ex-Warbler Blaine heads to his former school to get their deserved prize back, which brings us to the return of former 'Klaine' villain Sebastian, who as it turns out is no longer captain of the Warblers, as that honor now belongs to Hunter (Nolan Funk). Hunter pleads with Blaine to "come home" - aka rejoin the Warblers - and brings out his old blazer and despite his hardest efforts to avoid temptation Blaine can no longer take the pressure and returns to his old gang, with the track 'Dark Side' with he reunited comrades.

Blaine soon realises that the only thing keeping him at McKinley is Kurt (Chris Colfer), so he decides to transfer back to Dalton too, just when it seemed like things were going oh so smoothly. Fortunately for the New Directions team, Sam (Chord Overstreet), has already proved more than his fair share of support for most of the gang in their respective times of need, and again he was there to offer a shoulder to lean against.
