Actress Glenn Close is set to star as Russian Duchess impostor Anastasia.
The Fatal Attraction star has been cast as Anna Anderson, the woman who claimed to be the Grand Russian royal, in a film titled Duchess.
Close will be reunited with The Chumscrubber director Arie Posin, as well as producers Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn, who were the filmmakers behind Close's Albert Nobbs.
Duchess is poised to be a dark road trip comedy based on the true story of Anderson and her final days with her husband Jack Manahan. After a judge sentenced Anderson to a retirement home in Virginia in 1983, Manahan helped her escape and the couple embarked on a honeymoon they were never able to have.
