Celebrity chef has ruffled a few feathers in his time but his latest admission whilst being interviewed on The Jonathan Ross Show has invoked a great deal of anger from fellow parents and well, those who just think he's a bit creepy.

Gordon RamsayRamsay Has Earned Criticism With His Overly Protective Parenting.

In an interview with Jonathan Ross, Ramsay admitted that, as a protective parent, he was suspicious of his 15 year-old daughter's claims that she and her boyfriend had been spending so much time in their room purely to revise. In what is being widely regarded as an invasion of privacy, Ramsay claims to have planted a hidden camera in Megan's room to verify they were up to what they claimed.

"They've been spending a lot of time in her room recently," Gordon said. "But revising. Revising. They seem to be spending a lot of time revising and yet the results aren't..." he trailed off. Ramsay added "I've been a bit naughty over the last couple of weeks because I got Jack [13 year-old son] a little Go-Pro, one of those little secret cameras. So I said to him, 'Look mate, here's 20 quid, go and target your big sister's room and put that camera right at the top left-hand side of the wardrobe.' So, Megan, I'd like to talk to you about your revising."

The 46 year-old TV chef his wife Tana have four children from their 16-year marriage: Megan, 15, twins Jack and Holly, 13, and Matilda, 11. It's natural that a father would be protective over his eldest daughter but many critics have attacked the star for verging into the territory of weird.

To make matters even more embarrassing for his young daughter, Ramsay announced that Megan and her boyfriend were in fact present in the audience and were party to his cringe-worthy sharing. Many internet-users are slating Ramsay's apparent actions, claiming it not only shows that he doesn't trust her but also by invading her personal sanctuary, he might be privy to something a father probably would rather not see.

However, it's important to note that if there was anything unsavoury going on, he certainly wouldn't have announced it on national television.

Gordon Ramsay's appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show will be aired tomorrow night on ITV.
