Actress Greta Gerwig Is Stepping Behind The Camera To Direct Her First Feature Film.
The Frances Ha star will take charge of Lady Bird, according to Deadline.com.
Gerwig is also making her solo writing debut on the movie, which will begin shooting in March (16) in Sacramento, California.
Gerwig will not be appearing in the movie.
The 32 year old's past writing credits include Frances Ha, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical and Mistress America.
