Gucci Mane's jail time has been extended after the rapper pleaded guilty to aggravated assault following an attack on a fan at an Atlanta, Georgia nightclub.

According to Fulton County District Attorney's spokeswoman Yvette Jones, the incarcerated hip-hop star, real name Radric Davis, pleaded guilty on Monday (15Sep14) to hitting a man in the head with a vodka bottle in March, 2013.

Reports suggest the victim, an Army staff sergeant, was merely asking the rapper to pose for a photo with him.

Davis has been sentenced to serve three years behind bars. This will be added to the 39-month federal firearms sentence he was handed in August (14).
