Picture: Halle Berry picking up her daughter Nahla Aubry from school Los Angeles, California - 14.03.12
Halle Berry is set to start filming Brad Anderson's suspense drama The Hive, this summer, Variety.com revealed today (March 15, 2012). Anderson is quoted as saying "I'm thrilled to be working with Halle on this. It's a formidable role for an equally formidable actress."
Halle was reportedly interested in the project some time ago, when the director Joel Schumacher was involved. When Anderson signed on in January this year (2012), Berry was not signed on and cited "personal reasons" for her inability to commit. Several "top actresses" were reportedly interested in the role but Halle decided to sign up. The Hive is set in a 911 call centre and the actress will play the role of a telephone operator forced to face her own fears, in order to save a young girl from a "disturbed killer."
