Supermodel Heidi Klum became the latest Hollywood celebrity to show their support for the teenage Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai, after she was photgraphed wearing a t-shirt with the slogan 'I Am Malala' written on it.

Klum has also shown her support on Twitter earlier this month by Tweeting: “Please support Malala Yousafzai, a 14-year-old girl, who was shot because she wanted to go to school."

The 15-year-old school girl Malala has become a symbol of opposition to the archaic Taliban in her native Pakistan (who oppose the education of women) after she was shot in the head on October 9. She is currently undergoing treatment for her injuries in Britain. The young girl first rose to prominence at the age of 11, when she started writing a blog for BBC Urdu about her life under the Taliban regime, bringing international attention to the dire situation in her country. The work she has done and the subsequent assassination attempt on her has called for UN intervention on the situation, with Gordon Brown, the UN special envoy for education, demanding that all children across the globe be given the right to an education by the end of 2015.

Klum joins Angelina Jolie and Selena Gomez in giving her support to the movement.
