Alec Baldwin's Stalker, Actress Genevieve Sabourin, Jailed For 6 Months
Alec Baldwin's alleged stalker has been jailed for six months by a New York judge. Genevieve Sabourin claims to have had a sexual encounter with Baldwin in 2010 and began harassing him via emails and voice calls two years later.
A woman accused of stalking American actor Alec Baldwin was found guilty this morning (14th November) by a judge in New York. Genevieve Sabourin, a Canadian actress, has been sentenced to six months jail time. The 41-year-old actress has already been given one month in jail for interrupting Baldwin during his testimony.
Baldwin gave emotional testimony on Tuesday (12 November).
The 30 Rock actor met Sabourin in 2000, according to reports in The LA Times, whilst working on a film together. The pair met up again in 2010 when they had dinner together: Sabourin claims the two had a sexual encounter at a hotel whilst Baldwin maintains the meeting was about her career and the two were never lovers.
