Equipment and gear linked to the reunited British group was spotted outside The Church Studios in London earlier this month (Mar16), prompting fans to speculate about new material.

And now singer Brown has told the NME new tracks will be released "soon" - and they sound "glorious".

Prior to the star's confirmation, bandmates Mani and John Squire told fans that talk of a new album was far fetched, insisting the group was in the studio "rehearsing for gigs".

And drummer Reni, real name Alan Wren, has also confirmed the recording rumours, arriving at the studio on Wednesday night (23Mar16) and telling reporters gathered outside, "I'm recording. I can't tell you anything because I'll get my a**e kicked".

Reports suggest the group's third album will be released this summer (16) to coincide with upcoming live dates, which include four headline shows at Manchester's Etihad Stadium, concerts in Dublin, New York and Japan, and a headlining slot at Scotland's T In The Park festival.
