Spencer Lacey Ganus, the actress who voiced the teenage Elsa in Disney's billion dollar movie Frozen - now the biggest grossing animation of all time - was paid just $926.20 for her role. The 15-year-old received a one-day guaranteed payment for her work on the movie, according to documents filed in court.

Entertainment site TMZ.com reports that Ganus' slice of the billion dollar pie is just 0.000077 per cent, despite her work featuring prominently in the opening scenes of the movie. The actress has also voiced characters in Ice Age and Happy Feet.

The Broadway actress and singer Idina Menzel voiced the grown-up Elsa in the hugely popular movie, with Eva Bella taking over for the younger version.

The movie made a monumental profit, taking in $1.2 billion on a relatively modest budget of $150 million. Let It Go, the hit song from the movie - also sang by Menzel - became a chart topper across the world.

FrozenFrozen is now the biggest grossing animated movie of all time, overtaking Toy Story 3.

Frozen followed the story of fearless optimist Anna (Kristen Bell) who sets off on an epic journey with the rugged mountain man Kristoff and his trusty reindeer Sven to find her sister Elsa. Encountering Everest like conditions, the trio battle the elements to save the kingdom. 

Earlier this week, speculation suggested Disney was planning a Frozen sequel, titled Strange Magic. However, the studio quickly released a statement confirming that Strange Magic was actually the title of a new animated movie from Lucasfilm. Inspired by A Midsummer Night's Dream, the madcap fairytale features a colourful cast of goblins, elves, fairies and imps.
