Although Menzel won't be reprising the role of Queen Elsa on the stage - "I don't know what will happen with that" - she does hope to return to lend her voice for the forthcoming second movie, "We'll see, I'm just going along for the ride," she said.

Since being released in November 2013, 'Frozen' has been one of the most successful animated movies of all-time, and has earned over $1 billion at the box office worldwide. The flick was also awarded two Oscars - for Best Animated Feature, and for its signature song 'Let It Go,' sung by Menzel.

The retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, The Snow Queen, follows 'Princess Anna' (Bell), the future Queen of Arendelle, along with mountain man 'Kristoff' (Groff) races against time to prevent her sister, 'Elsa' (Menzel), from unwittingly turning the kingdom into an eternally icy realm, along the way 'Anna' meets new friends and learns vital life lessons.

Menzel also opened up about being a key component in the overwhelming success of the film. "I remember some of those classic Disney songs from movies, and you knew the character but you didn't know the person behind the song. But this is different, this is weird," she said.
