Idina Menzel probably has one of the most famous voices in the world thanks to the massive success of Frozen, but it appears her own son isn’t yet on the ‘Let it Go’ bandwagon.

Speaking during a show at London's Wembley Arena, Menzel told the crowd that to her five year old son Walker she’s just "mummy" and anything else to him is an “inconvenience". "He doesn't like to hear me singing,” the 43 year old said.

"He says it makes him sad, I guess he's a sensitive cat. He'd rather have my attention, my job is an inconvenience,” she added. Menzel shares Walker with her former husband actor Taye Diggs, who has just been announced as taking over the lead role in Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway from ‘Glee’ star Darren Criss.

While over in the UK Menzel also took the time to visit a young cancer survivor and perform a duet with her. Menzel and 10 year old Amy Carmichael sang the film’s trademark song ‘Let It Go’ together backstage before the singer’s Wednesday gig at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall.

Speaking to Scotland’s Daily Record Carmichael said, "I am so happy."It was exciting and Idina was so nice. My friends won’t believe me. I’m going to tell them all.” Menzel also imparted some advice on the aspiring singer, telling her, “You should definitely pursue singing.”

"It was a dream come true,” Amy's mum Heather said. “Idina seemed very touched when she heard that one of Amy’s friends had passed on last August and that she was going to sing 'Let It Go' in his memory at a ball this November."
