Iggy Azalea has said she ‘thought about quitting life’ after enduring a rough 2015 which saw her cancel a schedule tour and endure harsh criticism from fellow artists. Speaking on Power 106 FM on Friday, Azalea also revealed she had postponed her wedding in order to tour later this year.

When asked about her rough 2015 Azalea said: “I never thought about quitting music, but sometimes I thought about just quitting lift.” She then went on to say that she could never leave music because rapping was her whole life.

“It’s my whole life. This is what I do,” Azalea continued. “I’ve been rapping since I was 14, and this is all that I know. It’s what my gift is, whether you think I’m talented or not. That’s what I do I’m a creative person. I don’t know any other job and I’m not interested in any other job.”

Azalea then explained that since she lives in the United States on a work visa, if her career would ended it would mean she’d have to leave the US. “My whole life is here, so that's a lot for somebody to deal with," she said.

“'For somebody to come when I didn't really feel like I did anything to be deserving of that much hate, to be like, okay, well now we're taking everything from you, what you do, your friends, everything could be totally gone, that's a lot."

Azalea also revealed that she had decided to postpone her wedding to basketball player Nick Young, so that she can tour her new music. “I was going to get married in August, and I planned everything for it,” she said. “I postponed my wedding to tour, so I better [tour] or I’ll have to answer to Nick!”
