Jackson Browne and Crosby And Nash are among the stars who will contribute to a benefit album in aid of the Occupy Wall Street protest.
Demonstrators in New York have been campaigning against corporate greed since September (11) and the protest, which has since spread across the globe, has attracted support from a host of famous faces including Russell Brand, Kanye West and Jay Z.
Some of the campaign's musical supporters have now signed up to donate tracks to a benefit record which will raise money for the movement.
Browne and Crosby and Nash will appear on Occupy This Album along with Third Eye Blind, Devo and Lucinda Williams, while filmmaker Michael Moore is planning to sing on the album.
Organisers hope the record will raise millions for the Occupy movement, with proceeds earmarked nonprofit organisation Alliance for Global Justice and to help Occupy offshoots internationally.
The album will be released in digital form later this year (11), according to the Associated Press.
