Jaime King has named her baby Leo Thames Newman.

The 'Hart Of Dixie' actress and her husband Kyle Newman welcomed their second son - a brother for 21-month-old James Knight - into the world last week and have now revealed the moniker of their ''little angel''.

The couple told JustJared in a statement: ''Kyle and I named our second son Leo Thames Newman.

''Our family couldn't be happier welcoming another little angel into this world. Thank you for all of the support and well wishes.''

The baby's middle name is of particular significance to the couple.

A source explained: ''Jaime and Kyle were married by the River Thames and Leo means strong and powerful.''

The 36-year-old actress admitted shortly before she gave birth she was still undecided about her baby's middle name, but she was looking for something both ''classic and eclectic''.

She said: ''I know the first part. We just have to decide on the second part.

''Names are never easy, you don't want something to be too Hollywood and out there.

''I want my child to feel strong in life and in business and what they do, but it's still romantic at the same time ... It's not easy, but I like classic and eclectic mixed together so it's a bit of both of my worlds at the same time.''
