Wonder Woman

The big rumour this week is that Wonder Woman will be featured in the upcoming Batman vs Superman film, starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, and then will have her own movie afterwards. The two names most frequently suggested for the role this week are Jaimie Alexander, hot on the heels of her supporting role in Thor: The Dark World, and Olga Kurylenko, who seems to be everywhere at the moment. But it seems like all of Hollywood is lining up to be considered. We have put together a full run down of the Wonder Woman contenders for you here.

The cast and crew of Last Vegas gathered in New York for a star-studded premiere, including Oscar-winning cast members Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro and Mary Steenburgen, as well as costars Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and director John Turteltaub. The film, about a group of lifelong retirement-age friends who head to Vegas for a bachelor party, has just opened in America and arrives in the UK in January. American Hustle

One of the most-anticipated films of the next few months is David O Russell's 1970s comedy-drama American Hustle, and we had a new international trailer for it this week. Clearly an awards contender, the film stars several actors who have won Oscar attention working with Russell in the past, including Christian Bale, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro and Amy Adams. It opens in America in December and in the UK in January. Watch the American Hustle trailer here.

We also got a new red-band trailer for Charlie Countryman, a surreal-looking dramatic thriller starring Shia LaBeouf, Evan Rachel Wood, Rupert Grint, Mads Mikkelsen and Melissa Leo. Set in Bucharest, the plot centres on LaBeouf's character, who haplessly falls in love with a woman who's attached to a brutal crime boss. The film looks very violent, darkly emotional and hugely inventive. It opens in America next week. Check out the Charlie Countryman Red Band Trailer.

Delivery Man

And finally, buzz is starting to build for Vince Vaughn's next movie, Delivery Man, which released a new trailer this week. It opens at the end of the month in America and in Britain in January, and is a virtual shot-for-shot remake of the 2011 Canadian comedy Starbuck, about a guy who learns that, as a result of a sperm-bank error, he has fathered 533 children. The original film's writer-director Ken Scott also made the new version, which is set in New York and costars Cobie Smulders and Chris Pratt. You can take a look at the Delivery Man trailer here.
