James Arthur wants to go ''crazy'' on his next album.

The 28-year-old singer - who was crowned champion on 'The X Factor' in 2012 - has revealed he plans to make new hit records in the future, which will be a ''bit'' similar to the 'Famous' rapper Kanye West's records, and is event thinking about releasing a ''R&B hip-hop'' LP.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, the musician said: ''I want to just go a bit crazy and bit more Kanye next. I would love to do something more left (field) and maybe make an R&B hip-hop thing.

This one was quite guitar-based, vintage Motown, really honest and raw. But I'm excited to make new music.''

And the 'Recovery' hitmaker believes his new music will allow him to have a re-birth and be seen as a ''new artist'', although he is not ''ashamed'' of his past.

Arthur - who had a brief fling with Rita Ora in 2013 - explained: ''I think it will be nice to be presented as a new artist. I'm not ashamed of my history but they don't know my background, which will be interesting.

''It was made out that I'd called her [Rita] a b***h or something. But I'd never want to paint her in a bad light - she's such a lovely person. We were just seeing each other and getting to know each other. She's super busy and I'm super bus and it just sort of fizzled out.''
