Fact: Actor and late night talk show host James Corden brought his famous Carpool Karaoke sketch to the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (12Feb17) as the prizegiving host recruited Jennifer Lopez, Jason Derulo, Faith Hill, Tim MCGraw, John Legend, Keith Urban, and Ryan Tedder to sing Neil Diamond's classic Sweet Caroline with the veteran crooner himself. Beyonce's five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy was even spotted getting in on the fun, joining the star-studded group towards the end of the brief rendition.

Fact: Actor-turned-U.S. talk show host James Corden took his new Late Late Show to the streets of Los Angeles this week to find a willing resident to offer up their home for Thursday's (02Apr15) taping of the programme. After a number of rejections, a filmmaker known only as Tommy opened his door and invited Corden, his guests Jeff Goldblum and Beck, and the camera crew into his house, where the interviews took place on his couch. They even played a game of hide and seek on the show, while Tommy later professed his love for the Grammy-winning rocker, branding him "one of my favourite performers of all time", before Beck played live in his living room.

Fact: INTO THE WOODS actor-turned-late night TV presenter James Corden was given a scare on Wednesday (01Apr15) when his guest, U.S. newswoman Katie Couric, pretended to fall down the studio stairs as she made her big entrance on THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN. The Brit rushed to her side as she lay lifeless on the ground, only to discover she was a stuntdouble. The real Katie Couric appeared at the top of the stairs and revealed the prank was an April Fools' Day joke. As he recovered from the shock, he quipped, "I was like, 'Oh, my God. Katie Couric just died'."
