Singers James Taylor, Lyle Lovett and The Band Perry are set for a career milestone on Monday (21Nov11) when they perform for U.S. President Barack Obama.
The stars will stage a show in the East Room of the White House in Washington, D.C. for an hour-long TV special, Country Music: In Performance at the White House.
Kris Kristofferson, former Hootie & the Blowfish star Darius Rucker and singer Dierks Bentley will also play at the gig, which is due to air on Pbs on Wednesday (23Nov11).
Obama is set for a very musical holiday season - Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson and Cee Lo Green will perform for the leader next month (Dec11) at the annual concert Christmas in Washington.
