Ever since Fifty Shades Of Grey hit cinemas on Valentines Day the film and its cast and crew have the subject of rumours concerning who is and isn’t onboard for the planned sequels. But one star who’s no longer staying silent on the rumours is Christian Grey himself, Jamie Dornan, who described talk of his wife banning him from future Fifty Shades movies as ‘total bollocks’.

In an interview with the Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye Dornan said, “The idea was that we honour the trilogy and do all three.” So then what about those rumours that his wife Amelia Warner wanting him to pull out of the steamy sequels?

“Total bollocks!” Dornan is quoted as saying. “Of course she would have read the scripts well in advance, and she’s massively supportive of Fifty Shades.”

Dornan and his co-star Dakota Johnson have also had to fend off some critics who, before the film was even released, wrote that the actors had no chemistry together.

“They wouldn’t have shot the film with us if there was a chemistry problem . . . whatever chemistry means,” Dornan said. "You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a part like this, and they simply wouldn’t have cast us.”

The actor also explained how he never would have landed the coveted role of Christian Grey if it hadn’t been for his turn on BBC2 drama 'The Fall'. “I’m just a father and a husband, really,” he said. “I wouldn’t have been in the conversation for Fifty Shades without 'The Fall'.” 

“It’s the job that changed everything for me,” Dornan added, telling the newspaper that he was happy to revisit the character and the show which is reportedly returning for a third series to air sometime next year.
