The reality TV show contestant shares a six-year-old daughter with actress Kym Marsh
Actor Jamie Lomas, who is currently appearing in the ITV series, I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, has not been told his ex-wife and mother of his child rushed their ‘terrified’ six-year-old daughter to hospital last week, it has been claimed.
Kym Marsh took the dauughter she shares with Jamie Lomas to the hospital last week
The little girl was rushed to hospital with Croup after she was left "gasping for breath" but Jamie still has no idea about her health scare, sources have said.
The Hollyoaks actor, 42, reportedly hasn't been told about the incident as it happened while he is in the Australian jungle.
A source told The Sun: "He hasn't been told while he's in the jungle. Because it happened while Jamie was in the jungle, it's not something he'd know about."
It comes after Kym revealed she took Polly straight to Salford Royal Hospital when she was left 'gasping for air' at her family home at 11.30pm.
Recalling the 'terrifying' incident, Kym divulged she 'couldn't sleep' in her magazine column when doctors revealed her daughter was suffering from Croup - a respiratory infection that is usually caused by a virus which it interferes with normal breathing.
Speaking about the incident, Coronation Street actress Kym said: "On Wednesday night at 11.30pm, Polly just started gasping for breath.
"I had to rush her over to Salford Royal Hospital. It turned out she'd got Croup. It's something that children of the age of three can get but Polly is six.
"It was horrible and her cough sounded like she was a sea lion. I didn't get to bed until 5am and even then I couldn't sleep. The staff put Polly at ease because she was terrified. It was really horrible to see."
