Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have officially called off their engagement. The former couple's representatives confirmed their separation yesterday (Monday 17th September) whilst speaking to a US entertainment website.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called their engagement off. The couple's representatives both confirmed their separation on 17th September. The couple had been dating for over three years and were engaged for more than a year.
Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth photographed together in August 2013, a month before they "officially" split up.
The couple had been dating since 2010 after they met on the set of The Last Song, the romance in which they both starred. The couple were together for just under two years before Hemsworth popped the question in May 2012. The life of pre-wedded bliss did not last long however as their wedding was postponed earlier this year. Since the news of the postponement went public, the couple seem to have had an on-again off-again relationship. This was largely based on speculation from media outlets assuming Cyrus' appearances without her engagement ring were proof the couple were separating. Despite the tentative evidence upon which the speculation was based, such reports appear to be founded following confirmation (obtained by People) by the two star's representatives that they have split.

Miley/Liam fans can relax - there is no trouble in paradise.
Whenever two people are successful, beautiful and usually heterosexual in Hollywood, you can bet the media is going to link them romantically. Case in point: Liam Hemsworth and January Jones. The two have been rumoured to be “getting cozy” on several previous occasions, but the most recent bout of media attention followed an Us Weekly report, which alleged that the Hunger Games actor and the Mad Men star had been getting cozy with one another. However, according to E!News, there is no truth to these reports.
"The story of Liam Hemsworth and January Jones is entirely fabricated by US Weekly. There is no truth whatsoever to this tabloid fiction," the actor's rep told E!

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are still together, despite what you may have read.
Despite the seemingly endless rumors concerning the status of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's relationship, sources tell E! News that's it's been a rocky few weeks for the duo but that they're definitely still together. Earlier this week, Us Weekly 'confirmed' that the Hollywood pair had split after Liam's brothers staged an intervention, though that now appears premature.
A source said "they're hanging in there" and trying to work things out. The engagement is by no means over and Liam was spotted pulling up outside Miley's home in Los Angeles this week. This had prompted some news agencies to assume he was collecting his belongings, though E! seem too think the two were probably working things out.
The pair met on the set of romantic drama The Last Song in 2009 and got engaged last summer when Hemsworth pulled out a 3.5-carat diamond ring for his wife to be. The most recent rumors of a split began to surface after Liam was spotted leaving the Chateau Marmont with Mad Men actress January Jones following a pre-Oscar party on February 23, 2013. Prior to that, the Hunger Games actor had regrouped with his family in Australia while rumors of a split swirled in Los Angeles.

January Jones refuses to budge on the identity of her son's father.
January Jones is remaining resolute on her decision to keep the identity of her son's father a secret. The 'Mad Men' actress gave birth to son Xander Dane Jones in September 2011 but never revealed who the father and was and didn't appear to be in a serious relationship with anyone at the time. In other words, the whole thing is a complete mystery."That's my son's business. It's not the public's business," the 35-year-old told the New York Times during a recent interview.
Jones plays Dom Draper's ex-wife Betty in Mad Men, a character known for her icy exterior. "Jack Nicholson once told me: 'You should never give your personal life away. Otherwise, people will pick you apart. They'll never believe in your character," the actress coyly added. Often, Jones' guarded persona is believed to transfer to real life, with the actress often accused of being humourless - something she refutes. "Women should have lots of secrets," she said. "It's our right to have secrets. Otherwise, what would we write in our memoirs?"
She hit the headlines earlier this year after revealing she ate her placenta after Xander's birth to stave off postpartum depression. "It was like taking a vitamin blended into a smoothie," she said, adding, "I'm a mammal. I nursed. I did all kinds of weird stuff."

Actress January Jones says her hair is falling out at an alarming rate. The 35-year-old actress, best known for playing Don Draper's wife Betty Draper on Mad Men, told Grazia Daily at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah that continuously changing the color of her hair is taking its toll on her scalp.
Jones - who has changed from a blonde, to brunette to a redhead - said, "I have been every color and now my hair is falling out in clumps. I like it all colors, it makes you feel different according to what color it is, but I prefer to be blonde. My son recognizes me in photos when I am blonde. He says, 'Mama'. I've been blonde, red with extensions for this film, then blonde, then black, and now blonde again. I'm going to have to shave it off and wear a wig." Hair stylists believe excessive coloring can result in hair loss, with Gretta Monahan, founder and CEO of Grettacole Salon in Boston telling ABC News, "The chemicals that are used and the over-frequency in coloring your hair can result in breakage and hair loss."
January Jones is not the only star to struggle with hair loss issues. International pop star Lady Gaga and TV personality Kelly Osbourne have also reportedly suffered hair loss because of hair dye. "I felt like I'd been electrocuted and burst into tears," the latter told the UK's Guardian newspaper after admitting to getting bald patches.

Written by Guillermo Arriaga (Amores Perros, 21 Grams), the story is broken into several parts, each introduced by a chapter heading, jumping forward and backward in time. The action begins with two hunters coming upon the disinterred body of an illegal Mexican immigrant, Melquiades Estrada, who has been shot to death and hastily buried in a makeshift grave, only to have a coyote dig him up. The redneck sheriff (Dwight Yoakam) doesn't care enough about a dead Mexican to investigate his death, even though Melquiades' friend and employer, Pete Perkins (Jones), gives him evidence implicating a border patrolman.

However, as a still agile Swayze danced with the new movie's star, Romola Garai, it dawned on me: The new movie needed Swayze, or rather his hunky heir. Part of what made the original Dirty Dancing so appealing was Swayze's presence. Physically, you couldn't take your eyes off him, and he had a cool, aloof sex appeal that set up good girl Grey to fall madly in love with him. And Grey did a masterful job falling for his charms, slowly and assuredly.
