Actor Jared Padalecki has been given a special gift just before the holidays - he has welcomed a second son.

The Supernatural star's wife and Tv co-star Genevieve Cortese Padalecki gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday night (22Dec13).

Padalecki announced the happy news via Twitter.com on Monday (23Dec13), writing, "Ok. For real. My amazingly strong wife home-birthed a happy and healthy baby boy last night. Please send love."

The couple married in 2010 and is already parents to Thomas Colton, who was born in March, 2012.
