Jay Z will launch his very own YouTube channel tonight (October 6th), at 9.30pm (EST) with a live stream of his final night of performance in New York. The channel, titled Life + Times, will be the latest addition to his multi-million dollar business empire and has been set up as an offshoot of his own blog of the same name, USA Today reports.

The online channel will act as a springboard for Jay to upload original video footage and will include a behind the scenes mini-series about the Brooklyn Nets (the NBA team he owns shares in) called The Road to Brooklyn. The channel will also feature a fan-interaction shows called Roc Nation Check-In and Well Dunn With Jourdan Dunn, the later which will follow the exploits of the British supermodel Dunn.

The channel is a joint collaboration between Jay and IconicTV, with Iconic’s co-founder and chief creative officer Michael Hirschorn saying that the channel will run just like a television network, right down to monetizing through advertising. Hirschorn told UAS Today, "The site really is a way for Jay to showcase the breadth of his interests, from fashion, architecture, music, style, food, consumables, electronics, and so forth."
