Pregnant Girls star Jemima Kirke insists she won't circumcise her unborn baby if it's a boy because she's convinced the common medical practice is a form of mutilation.

The actress is expecting her second child with husband Michael Mosberg next month (Nov12), but the couple has yet to find out the sex of the baby in order to maintain an element of surprise.

However, if Kirke gives birth to a son, she has vowed not to allow doctors to remove the foreskin from the boy's penis, as she views it as an unnecessary act of cruelty.

During an interview with New York Magazine, the 27 year old is asked by pal Jane Moseley if the tot will be circumcised after birth and she responds, "No! I don't like the idea of mutilating a baby. And that's what it is. Let's just call a spade a spade."

Kirke already has a two-year-old daughter, Rafaella.
