@guyzahner @olcott_dianne Yes, anything on the Hill.
Not everyone gets to the place they thought they would get to in life. Nothing rings more true than that for Brad Sloan (Ben Stiller). His college friends have all gone on to bigger and better things; Craig Fisher (Michael Sheen) ended up in the White House, Jason Hatfield (Luke Wilson) formed his own hedge fund company and Billy Wearslter (Jemaine Clement) sold his business and got to retire at 40-years-old. Brad, meanwhile, put all his efforts into a non-profit venture - and that's exactly what he has to show for it. None of the luxury and wealth of his classmates, but he does have a son he's incredibly proud of.
Troy Sloan (Austin Abrams) is a talented musician who's smart enough to get into pretty much any college he chooses including Harvard. Brad takes him on a tour of colleges across the East Coast, and while he initially doesn't want to put too much pressure on Troy, he soon gets over-zealous by the prospect of Harvard that he can't stop himself from heaping advice onto his son who's anxious enough as it is. Brad just doesn't want Troy to end up struggling like he is, but he's going the wrong way about ensuring his success - especially when he bumps into one of his old friends and starts doubting his own successes (or lack thereof) in life.
'Brad's Status' is a comedy drama directed and written by Mike White ('School of Rock', 'The Good Girl', 'The Emoji Movie'). It was nominated for the Platform Prize at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival, and was released in theatres on September 15th 2017.
Eastwood's latest biopic is taking an interesting turn
Clint Eastwood's latest project will see three of the men who thwarted a terrorist attack on a train meant for Paris cast as themselves according to Warner Bros. Pictures. The film, titled 'The 15:17 To Paris' will feature Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos (Oregon National Guardsman) and Spencer Stone (U.S. Air Force Airman First Class), with Jenna Fisher (The Office) and Judy Greer (Arrested Development, Jurassic World) also set to star in the film.

Steve Dallas may have a high-flying career as a TV weather man, but it hasn't affected his feelings for his distinctly less successful best buddy Ben Baker. The pair have been joined at the hip since their childhood, despite their vast personal differences, so when Ben attempts to barge into the studio to speak to Steve, the latter is by his side immediately. Ben's father has passed away and thus needs someone around who understands him and who can pull him through one of the toughest times of his life. Things get complicated though when Mr Baker Sr.'s last will and testament requests Ben be the receiver of his house, business and estate. Unfortunately, though, Ben is less than up to the task of taking on the family business and so Steve helps him find a way to get him back on his feet emotionally.

It's a good thing Fischer is enjoying motherhood so much, because she's about to do it all over again.
Jenna Fischer, whom you may know as Pam from The Office, is expecting her second child with her husband, director Lee Kirk. This according to a release from Fischer’s rep for Us Weekly, Fischer and Kirk tied the knot back in 2010 and had their first son, Weston, two years later. As these things often do, the story is currently unfolding over Twitter. Congratulations are still pouring in – first it was actors and now a number of Fischer’s fans have gotten in on the action.
Jenna Fischer has been loving motherhood so far and is looking forward to doubling the workload.
In lieu of a confirmation, Fischer just retweeted a report of her pregnancy. In January 2013 and in several interviews since, Fischer has mentioned how much she is enjoying motherhood. Back then she said for PEOPLE: "When I went into it I thought, ‘OK, I bet it's going to be really great 70 percent of the time, and then 30 percent of the time, you just have to get through it,'" she recalled. "And I was like, 'I can do that, I can do that.' I love it 100 percent of the time, I honestly do."

The film is a goofy, but intelligent, combination of David Cronenberg's seminal slimy freak-out Shivers, the underrated teen zombie slugfest, Night of the Creeps, The Hidden, and one of the countless ribald, hicksploitation flicks that clogged the drive-ins in the '70s (I don't think I've seen such a cast of less-than-attractive performers outside of Quest for Fire.)
