Jennifer Aniston Lashes Out At Journo Kate, "What's Kate Couric?"

Jennifer Aniston has spoken out over rumors that she has been "converted" to nudism by her fiancé, Justin Theroux. The Friends actress has sought to firmly put a stop to tabloid talk that she and her man routinely strut about in the nude by disparaging the remarks in the tabloids that have led to the apparently false stories.

Aniston Has Been Angered By Rumours Surrounding Her Love Life.

During a recent interview on E!'s Chelsea Lately, hosted by Chelsea Handler, on Wednesday (31st July) night, Jennifer was quizzed about a few aspects of her love life. In response to questions regarding the nudist rumours, Aniston said "we do when it's appropriate," clarifying, "He's comfortable enough in his skin." The 44 year-old also dismissed the stereotypical earth-loving image of nudists whilst also denying that she is one: "This is absolute B.S.[...] What are we like, collecting eggs naked and walking around the lawns naked?"

Aniston Bared Her Claws Against Nudist Rumours.

Handler, who could even be accused of baiting the Horrible Bosses actress with gossip, said that journalist and TV presenter Katie Couric had probed for info on Jennifer's marriage with Theroux during one of their recent chats: "Katie Couric was asking me on her show about your wedding and I had to act like I didn't even know you were engaged because I didn't know that was out," said Handler, who, according to USA Today, is a close friend of Aniston's. "Then she was like, 'Well, everyone knows about it!' So, I felt really stupid."

Nope, They Don't Look Like Nudists.

The comment - whether it was meant to or not - riled Aniston who has been hounded by the press for years with tabloids dissecting her love-life and who then questioned Couric's credentials: "What's Katie Couric? Is she a legitimate journalist? Is she getting tabloidy? Wasn't she on the Today show?" mocked a visibly narked Aniston to the peculiar response from Handler: "She was on the Today show. She got a demotion to her own show."

Couric has recently responded to Aniston's 'diss', cheerfully brushing away a fan who prompted "that wasn't very nice what Jennifer Anniston said!!" with the reply: "people are so sweet...but it's a schtick that Chelsea does w her guests! I love them both!" Whether or not Couric meant this was another matter but the divas of Hollywood certainly have their claws out.
