Lawrence and Pratt are set to make a huge amount of money from the upcoming film, according to THR. Lawrence's fee has been set at $20 million against 30% of the film's profits. The fee is considerably higher than Pratt's, although at $12 million it's not to be sniffed at either! Apparently there's been some further negotiations going on behind the scenes at Sony as a source claims Pratt's fee jumped up by $2 million following the recent, record breaking success of Jurassic World in which he stars.

Sources speaking to THR suggest Sony Pictures' new motion picture chairman Tim Rothman as uncertain about giving Passengers the go-ahead. The script has reportedly been bouncing around Hollywood for a while and a number of studios have considered picking it up. However, Rothman's casting of two popular actors is likely to raise the profile of the film especially as both have previously starred in sci-fi and fantasy films.

Lawrence and Pratt are both enjoying phenomenal careers, which is certainly shown in their rumoured wages for Passengers. 24-year old Lawrence, who is best known for starring in The Hunger Games as Katniss Everdeen, can next be seen in the fourth and last instalment of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2. She will be reunited with her Silver Linings Playbook co-stars, Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro, in Joy, due to be released next year.

Meanwhile Pratt's days as dopey Andy in Parks and Recreation are long behind him and his incredible physical transformation reflects his career's new highs. Pratt starred in the 2014 hit Guardians of the Galaxy and this year has been praised in critics' reviews for his portrayal of park keeping Owen Brady in Jurassic World. He's currently filming for a remake of The Magnificent Seven.

See Pratt in Jurassic World, out in cinemas now, and Lawrence in Mockingjay - Part 2 from 20th/21st November in the UK/USA.
